Okay....i was confused in the beginning...then i went with the flow. The idea is good and the execution is fitting well. And i went until the end :) Reminds me of "The stanley parabel". Sort of. Thats a good thing!

merkisoft 2019-10-07 19:30

funny but also nothing

mitsu-artemius 2019-10-07 19:31

beautiful

sansman01 2019-10-07 19:32

That was a very innovative story :) (Remindes me of the game ICEY -> also has a narrator you can defy)

evilobjective 2019-10-07 19:39

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

@sansman01 cool I'll have to check it out!

Nice to see a fun story driven game here. Great idea you guys had here and you put it into practice in a nice way.

nisovin 2019-10-07 21:10

Interesting game, amusing to play. It was actually longer than I was expecting, given the description.

unicorn-studios 2019-10-08 00:44

very charming and funny, good job :)

nj-vs-valhalla 2019-10-08 19:41

Very cool! Narration is a bit annoying with this synthesized voice, but twist with Klaus is truly brilliant!

benji-kershenbaum 2019-10-08 19:52

Cute game, but could do with a tiny bit more interaction.

100th-coin 2019-10-08 21:32

Poor jeff. I eventually couldn't figure out what to do, but i enjoyed everything that i played.

evilobjective 2019-10-08 21:45

@benji-kershenbaum We had a bunch of other interactions planned but unfortunately we ran into the classic Ludum Dare issue of running out of time! In particular we wanted the interactions to have fail states that create branching paths. Oh well, maybe for a post-jam version!

@blobo If you made it to Jeff's fate then you reached the end, there was nothing else to do.

yaroslav-kravtsov 2019-10-08 22:18

Jeff!! Nooo!!!!

philomory 2019-10-08 22:28

By the Queen's beard, that was... strange. What a strange game.

bocodillo 2019-10-08 22:28

2019's best nihilism simulator.

palemek 2019-10-08 22:34

Thank you for that calming experience, really well executed(godot face as particles ;D), i was stuck a little with black screen at end, but finally i read your post that it was the end :) I think that without any branching paths its even better, because its more like a short humoristic movie that you play a part in, not an experience called "what did i miss". Thanks!

Great stuff, bonus points for what I think was a BlackAdder reference in there , and for the general Doug Adam's style story telling.

Truly amazing! I played over and over!!!

evilobjective 2019-10-09 04:19

@palemek Thanks for playing. No intentional BlackAdder reference (you can take away the bonus points!) though I've heard of it I haven't seen the show before

@ulisses Wow thanks!

yhi 2019-10-12 21:10

Good simple game with the concept of nothing. Even with a limited interaction (single button), it stays fun.

dock-frankenstein 2019-10-13 16:50

This was fun!
