Nice work - I enjoyed this! I like the idea of planning out a route and a watching out for enemies. I feel like maybe more could be done with the void - like maybe it could suck up some items and spit them out in other places for example, giving you the option of say starting with nothing to cross a bridge, but taking blocks from somewhere else to build one yourself. Overall nice work! It's a good concept and clearly very polished.

Level destruction is a pleasant surprise for this theme. I like this idea! Most of the time I end up carefully picking blocks one-by-one, though, so I didn't get to see the majesty of Nothing very often. Solid game nevertheless!

Nice submission! I liked having to look at the level carefully and plan my route! This is a great submission and really polished for a 48 hour game!

Awesome and unique take on the theme, and very challenging.

I like the concept of building your way to the exit of the level :-) Nice game!

This was a lot of fun, cool mechanic! I like your take on the theme. nice entry.

Super cool game mechanic!

Cool mechanic that works well. Had fun trying to get all the worms in the same spot for no reason, haha

yubs 2019-10-08 20:40

Really cool mechanics! Really nice entry!

Thoughtful level design and gameplay. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few ways to complete these levels! Well done with completing a compo entry! I streamed it here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/491837292?t=03h15m50s

@shrapx Thank you for sharing the stream! There are indeed several solutions, my own paths were quite different from yours. I'm curious though, why did you not use the level select but started over from the tutorial?

shrapx 2019-10-10 13:39

That is a good question, @kessutinnu :duck:

Great work! Just slinging a puzzle platformer in 48 hours is impressive but the main mechanic was ingenious and fun to use. One of the best games I've tried so far, very nice.

Very cool. Could you make the right mouse button the jump button?

kessutinnu 2019-10-11 15:10

Thank you for the suggestion, @p-r! I wouldn't make it *the* jump button, because using up or w seems more intuitive and should make the game easier to learn. However adding right mouse button as an alternative or giving the user option to change controls is not a bad idea.

Cool concept but a slightly complex gameplay. It reminds me of the good old days;)

trito 2019-10-11 19:00

Nice game idea! I really enjoyed it!

This is a good idea, not very fleshed out yet. Feel like there could be something more interesting with how the nothing grows and consumes things. I just used it like it was click to destroy single blocks.
