Fun little game. It was a bit hard to buy stuff from the market with the sword swinging around and it took me a while to figure out I had to press Space to buy something. Other than that I liked the concept and I think with some improvements it could a be a fun game to play.
Loved the graphics. Couldn't quite figure out what to do after getting the key.
I like the idea of implicitly building up your inventory at the beginning and climbing the tech tree. I wish the tree concept was more extended. I'm also not sure how to win?
I can tell you worked hard on this! My biggest complaint is that I just couldn't tell what was going on, or what my purpose was. Why do I plant carrots? What does placing the bomb do? What's the big orange line at the top of the screen do?
I also couldn't even see the orange bar for a few minutes until I made the Unity window full screen. You might want to configure your itch.io settings to show the full unity window, or maybe its an issue in Unity
Thank you for your feedback I am working on quite a few corrections to make it better!
after getting the sword and breaking down the fence... The trader's menu kept popping up and down. A toggle for the sword wouldn't be a miss. Honestly, I have no idea what to make of this. You said that you only started yesterday so I assume you didn't get some things in. I really like the sheep attacking idea. Reminds me of Cows with Guns.
God I hate this vibrating cow, she is so fast!
The idea is interesting, a crop defending game. It only is a little too weird to navigate throughout the menu, and it's a hard game.
It's really frustrating to try and buy stuff from the shop. Maybe the sword shouldn't be able to hit that? I really liked the sheep art.
If you get the sword, it is impossible to have any interaction with another object, can you fix it?
I am going to be doing bug fixeds as we speak!
I love that the revolving sword pushes you away from stuff. I couldn't really figure out what to do because the sheep kept eating everything, and the trap didn't seem to do anything to stop it.
Waiting for that fix then, otherwise interesting idea. Bonus points for the sheep art
It's an interesting idea to take away direct control of our weapon. I think it'd be more interesting if the sword orbited further away from us. Also, as everyone else has already mentioned, check the trigger box on the sword's collider.
Bug fix is now present!
Nice ideia but didn't understand what to do. Kept buying crops and planting them... and that is it. Funny graphics, a tutorial would help to improve the game. Nice entry
@pedro-miranda I would have liked to do so but time constrictions got the better I might make a small guide on the post
Pretty cool game! I liked the mystery of the game. I soon found out that I should probably read the instructions and the controls. I think I liked this a lot because I felt a sense of freedom and I had a good amount of options.
It was cool to search around til I found my body. Not really sure how the game works beyond that tho
@kevin-mooney There was a market place where you could buy crops!
I blew up the cow a bunch of time after enticing him with parsnips, but he wouldn't die!
100% would like to see a full play-through video to know what happens with the mouth thing in the ground.ld45_db-035.jpg
@johnnysix Nothing happens with the currently I am wanting to work on it further and see how it goes!
