Soundtrack is so catchy!!
A very sweet and fun platformer - I love the restricted view and music in this!
So cute! The lighting is really nice and I like your ghosty character. The platforming is a little tricky though, if I could give one suggestion that it would maybe feel more natural (and easier for noobs like me) if there was a little grace period after falling off a platform where you can still jump
Cute visuals, but the music really took the cake! Loved the song!
The artwork is great!
Music was awesome, but it started to glitch out and stop playing after a bit, not sure if that was intentional or not. Lighting was very nice, and the art style is great. I really appreciate the fast fall button, I can tell that's something you would probably only add due to playtesting which is a good sign haha. The one issue I had with the controls was bouncing off the bottoms of the platforms could totally kill your forward momentum and send you back to the start, which was a bit frustrating.
I loved the music. The light effects were very cool. Great job!
No bad audio and graphic(could use some animations). Gameplaywise not much to say - quick and simple platformer.
Thanks for entry :D
Simple platformer with nice background music and graphics... movement is not bad bad there is a ton of way to improve it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yorTG9at90g&feature=youtu.be&list=PLJ6aq_dKDFJITB8U7JHbUTx76xROewlQ_ there are some tips and tricks for platformer movement enjoy!
@eog @cybikitty @nevercade @vsquitiro @itsbamboo @shadow30 @burczy Thank you for your comments! I'm glad you guys liked it. @brokenmirrormedia Yeah those are a couple of issues, I will need to fix them if I get back to the project. @demuss Thank you for the video! Gamemaker's Toolkit is such a great channel. Next time I make a platformer, I'll be sure to use that video as reference.
Snappy platformers are definitely challenging with default Unity physics. Adding code that adds to the downward deceleration helps -- there are a couple of good videos about it on YouTube. Corgi Engine (a paid Unity asset) has nice non-Unity-physics based tight movement. The music and atmosphere are great. Good job!
I like the music, it has a rich rhythm that makes you just chill to it ... some more dynamic elements in the environment would be nice in the future
Solid little platformer! Like you mentioned, it doesn't feel very snappy, maybe increasing the gravity a lot (and together with that the jump strength so the max height stays the same) might help a bit, but getting the feeling just right requires quite some playing around with the numbers. The visuals and audio are quite nice, although the music seemed a little glitchy at times, is this intended? I really liked how the player is hidden behind the rock in the beginning :) Overall, I enjoyed playing this, good job!
Great Graphics, Really nice sfx. I had a problem with the plataforming, maybe cause I'm a total noob, but, It made really hard for me to stay on the little plataforms and i was repeating the same part a billion times. I really like what you did with the lighting. The mood and feel for the game were on point. I liked the music a lot but idk if it was just with me, but it didn't loop, it stopped, then started over, then stopped right after that and the rest of the time there was no soundtrack.
