You write you had to rush things towards the end, but if that wasn't the best ending in the history of skeleton-gathering-its-body themed games, then I don't know.

So yeah, very fun game! The animations were lovely, not only the final one, which was pretty incredible, but I felt the other animations like the fingers moving or the way the head rolls in an uneven way had a lot of love put into them too! Same goes for the ~~cute~~ __spooky__ models, those are really of high quality. Gameplay was rock-solid too, it was very varied. My favorite part was the final boss fight, dodging the leaf attacks to the boss music was the best. The way it gradually (literally) built up to that part was a cool take on the theme, overall a very good skelegame!

Really good sound art and animation, character control was nice and the level design was nice and led you down the right paths.

Didn't like the camera controls, it really spoiled the rest of the really good game. Also the controls are kinda whack, mouse based movement in a game like this feels really awkward.

Awesome work overall.

Also controlling a physics based skull is genius. Brilliant start to the game.

Awesome game ! Congrats ! Graphics are very nice. The concept is both good and well implemented. The music goes well with the game and the animations are cute as hell !

Super fun game, great animations and use of sounds! The final form of the character is just the best. Great work!

Best. Ending. Ever.

WOW! Amazing entry! Boss was a bit hard to beat, but its ok.

I Came to the page, saw the screenshots and instantly felt like it was a remastered PS2 game because of the graphics ( which is a compliment, don't mean it in a bad way lol ), I had a similar plan to this single body part at at time kind of game but i could never pull it off as good as you guys did!! Controls are smooth, environment & atmosphere are great. I actually went pass that rock in the beginning, and later understood that I had to push it lol. The finger movement on the hand animation is really well done, Great use of rolling movement for the hand. The boss fight gives a really good old school game vibe. I Couldn't defeat the pumpkin boss tho lol. Will definitely contact you to ask about how you guys did the assets, MORE PEOPLE NEED TO PLAY THIS CUTE SPOOKY GAME! ( Also first game that I gave all 5 stars in every category )

It takes time to understand how to beat the boss. And I still not able to pass him. In any case, it was fun to play. I like how you made level design, upgrades, camera moving on rails, animations.

Oh my god this is great! :D It's fun, simple controls, funny, this is great! Fits the theme, too, imo :D

Beautiful visuals and well-themed with how mechanics came by finding different body parts. It took me a while to figure out the first area ( since I didn't know what I could interact with ), but I started to get the hang of it from there.

The camera was what really took me out of the experience, as sometimes I'd be facing the wrong direction as the bosses would attack me. Having some way to manually control it would have been helpful. Also the pumpkin boss was a bit confusing since I didn't know I could pick up / throw objects, so having an interaction like that earlier in the game could have helped me get ready for it.

I beat the game though and overall had fun though, so thanks for making it!

the camera was tough in that boss fight, it can get pretty far from you in some cases. game is super spooky and charming, nice work you two

Awesome entry ! I really loved the controls, it's something I've never seen and it works well.

saering 2019-10-09 20:40

I hate you for allowing the player to die while he's picking up a pumpkin haha, otherwise the game is really fun to play !

greendinogames 2019-10-09 21:30

That's a masterpiece :D The camera was a little bit hard during the boss fight, but otherwise well done. The humor is great and the game looks well polished. I really enjoyed playing your game!

This is terrific! Really fun take on the theme, with a killer art style and color palette to boot! Super fun to slowly evolve the character controller over the game in interesting and unique ways.

Amazing! The animations combined with their sfx were very funny, especially the two moving fingers when you only have the arm.

As other jammers say, the camera can get hard to control on certain spots and I found a couple of bugs: - If you press ESC to pause the game and then press START to resume playing, the game crashes. - If you're killed at the same time you kill the boss (for example if it throws you leaves just when you shoot it), you have to repeat that section.

Thanks for making this game, I really enjoyed playing it!

Okay, I absolutely in love with the visual style (I love sweet creepy stuff) and music and animations! Omg, animations are so good. I immediately can imagine a big game in such style and with such characters (who played "Overlord" here?). Cons for me - strange camera and only one life (I wish it could be three). Great Pumpkin was heavily hard to beat. Overall - great game!

Awesome game! I laugh a lot, especially after seeing running with hand animation. I need some time to figure out how to deal with boss, but after figuring out it was straight forward. Nice last enimation.
