I had fun playing this. Nice graphics and style. The trampoline level was hard :)

Amazing game-- I'm actually disappointed that this doesn't have more ratings!!! Everything was so polished, from the execution of the theme + narrative, the art, music, and especially the controls and gameplay. At first, I found the game to be quite difficult, but after getting used to placing down different memories in mid-air and quickly toggling back to normal, it became extremely addictive. The movement reminds me of Celeste, and although it is fast-paced, it felt smooth to play! Great work!

This was fantastic. Honestly this could probably be put on steam... utterly fantastic

Beatiful game! The art and the music fit really well together and make for a very melancholic mood, that plays perfectly together with the memory gameplay mechanic. The only problem I had was with the keys. On my keyboard (german layout) the z and y keys are interchanged. This makes z quite hard to reach. I think ctrl, shift and space bar are much safer to use, as they don't change places in any keyboard layout.

Other than that, I really enjoyed my time with the game and I'm gonna listen to the nice background music for a while :D

This game has a control issue that greatly frustrated me: relying on split-second timing to push a pattern of single-use buttons(jump, then press a different button, hold that, and then push yet another different button...why?).

Why not instead have:

* Use current item (no hold required, press again to place) * Switch current item/cancel placement/return

(Note: my game for this jam has a different kind of control issue, mostly brought about by team communication issues leading to way too many unexplained elements)

Oh my god I'm shouting out loud I'm so happy I found this game!! The core mechanic is sooo coool and it makes you feel like a badass once you finally get those triple mid-air swaps going. Platforming is super tight, it always felt like I was 100% in control. Super minor nit but maybe some of the starter platforms were a bit too high though? Hitting my head felt a bit awkward.

Such crazy amount of polish in the aesthetics too, from the great storm lighting to the path trails to the instantly classic OST aaaahhhh you did such a good job!!!

Great game, cute art style, but it's really weird using the arrow keys to move...

Pretty solid entry ^^

Very very good game. The art style and the game mechanics were top notch. The levels were nicely crafted to highlight how to use the skills and the added story when introducing the skills was a nice addition. There was also some pretty nifty things there like the slowing of time while traversing in the air and choosing where to place the three-piece floor.

I'm very impressed. Nicely done and for the compo no less. Hats off to you!

Beautiful and touching use of the theme.

This is really atmospheric. I like what you've got going here, although there's some definite room for improvement in the controls. It's needlessly complicated, having a bunch of single-use buttons that you need to press with split-second timing. I would condense it like this:

1. Have the same button slow time, return time to normal, and remove a placed memory, depending on the context. Tap the button to activate it — make holding it unnecessary. 2. While time is slowed, you can then choose your memory to place. Tap the button associated with the memory to select it, then tap it again to confirm placement.

I also couldn't get past level 7. It seems like the solution is to place the tree up by the floating exit arrow, but I just fell off instead of proceeding to the next level.

I do like this though; it's cool.
