@pokenoufl The theme is supposed to be that the energy used to power you is your life and the currency is that that energy has to be used to power the ship. I agree it's not the clearest. But thanks for playing and glad you liked the beam.
Nicely done graphics and controls. Gameplay was straightforward and fun. Needs some way to show that you run out of fuel though. Music was good but got repetitive after a while.
Cute game. The controls feel nice and I think it uses the theme fairly well. I think it was fun but it became repetitive so I didn't fuel the ship to 15,000. Not sure if anything happens when you do. Maybe just more more enemies or some traps to avoid would add some variety.
@randomphantom Thanks, I agree a fuel notification could help. Music is definately my weakness, I'm glad it was at least okay at first. :)
@kodiqi There is just a quick end card when you fully fuel the ship. More enemies was the plan but that 48 hour time limit comes up quick. Thanks for checking out!

This was very polished for 48 hours. It reminded me a lot of rogue-lands and it would have been nice to see some of the mechanics from that game used to add more challenge (for example an enemy type that persistently chases you while no-clipping with the terrain). Fun little game though!

Fun game, Vim! I really like the shared fuel pool idea, and being able to repair your drone while depositing fuel back at the ship is a nice touch. Well done!

I like the mood of the game. Gameplay is really cool and addictive, I like how you have to carefully fly around and not take damage due to the shared fuel pool, nice touch. Good to have an arrow pointing at the ship, without it I would get lost a lot. I like the sounds and the graphics are very cool
There are some really nice touches in this game, such as the tractor beam and the fact that enemies turn to face you. Also, the graphics are superb! I didn't fully understand what was going on during my first playthrough, though - I was far off from the ship collecting energy when suddenly I was warned that my crew were going to die, and I really struggled to find my way back! Then I gave all my energy and died... Maybe that's just my fault for not reading the instructions properly, though. ;P Would be nice to see some sort of lose screen though, as it just took me straight back to the main menu and I wasn't initially sure why!
I pressed M to mute (because the music became a bit repetitive after a while) and then I was back at the menu and had to start over. :scream:
Very happy with the auto-aim of the tractor beam, keeps you focused on moving as fast as possible rather than having to stop and needle down. I like the idea of having to balance essentially three different meters at once, and how the game lets you play safe if you want, but it makes it take waaay longer. I think some variety in the enemy types would be neat, as well as more than one path back to the ship, as it makes the environment a bit repetitive after a while.
Simple neat little game. Would love to see more mechanics in there!
