Now THAT is a unique concept for a game! What even made you think of it?! The little "post mortems" (hmm, wait they should be for the people you sacrificed... "post livums?) were a surreal, fantastic touch. Unfortunately for the people of Catastrocity, my nerd pop-culture skills were not so hot!

@mrspeaker thanks so much for you comment!, we where thinking on what a sacrifice really means and how can we take that into a game, we are really glad you liked it!, sorry for the late response :)
Fairly certain the son of Kratos is just called "Boy..." :D

That was very cool! Sadly, super geek was not very smart and only saved 3 :(.

@cloakedninjas I was thinking od adding "Boy" as an option XD It would have being a bit more tricky!

@egawag Im glad you liked it!, at least you managed to save someone xD!
I'm glad I found that I'm morally right person - saving animals and porn-actresses was indeed a top priority (even though I didn't know who they're). Who cares about some religious leaders and human right activists when you can save a cat?! Like seriously! :dog:
Fun aside, I enjoyed it - the concept of being able to save just some and not all is something I like. It brought similar mood to when I was deciding whom to save (or let die) in Wasteland 2.
Good job!

I really enjoyed your game. It can be improved with a slower scrolling at the end. I didn't have enought time to read all. Thnak you

@zgragselus We wanted to make the feel that the choices you made really mattered, I believe we succeed on that!, Im really glad you enjoyed it :dog: thanks for playing and rating!

@shubart thanks for the feedback! we will take care on that on a next version!,thanks for playing and rating :D!
Really interesting concept, it was really fun for me. It was a weird take on the theme but a valid one.
I encounter an issue where the game got stuck after I select the people I wanted to save. The game didn't continue after I save all the people I could.
Overall a really fun game and a very good entry. Great job!!!

Oooh a quizz game, that's a nice change! The way sacrifices where inserted in the game was on point and pretty funny. It felt like a lottery of sorts but it suited the Mr Geek concept and the theme so I didn't mind.
Too bad the post mortems passed by so fast though, I could not read them all.
Great work on the graphics, and in particular the character art!
Nicely done! Very original with good graphics and sound, I loved it. One of the better ones I've played this time around. The questions in the second round were pretty tough! And some of those post-fire stories hit the feels.
Interesting concept. I'm impressed by your blending of trivia into actual gameplay mechanics. Well done!
Neat game. The trivia was pretty fun. An audio slider is really needed. The volume was way loud, which normally I could just turn down, but I was chatting while playing.
Outstanding game! Very well made and great fun to play. The graphics are amazing and the concept is cool. It feels like a completed game with great insight into the characters backgrounds and futures as well as having clean and effective graphics and animations. I really enjoyed it! 10/10
Pretty good

@emperor-eagle Thanks very much for your comments, made my day!,we are really glad that you enjoyed and liked it :D we are thinking of making a post-mortem version of the game with another link outside the ludum dare with another stage and some of the feedback applied n__n!
Amazing concept! I really enjoyed it, thanks!
Really nice idea! It's an unique concept, and well done. Good job!
Good game mixing quiz game and choices to save people! Maybe there are some things that can be improved: - In the score results section, could be nice to have an option to move the screen up and down, sometimes I don't have time to read all the results! - There is no end depending on the player score! I think is a good motivation to replay again and see different endings! - Adding an extra skill or bonus (for example, you can earn this skill if you answer correctly 3 answers in less than 10 seconds), this extra skill is like x-rays power that the player can see a part of people that you will save who is good or not... Anyway, is a great game! Congrats!
Wow! Finally, a "chose who gets to be saved" game where I feel like my choices do matter and they have an impact. I like the idea of testing my knowledge in order to grant me access to how many citizens I can save. The little hints about who this people are really add to the moral dilemma of whom to save. Plus the story after the fact, very nice touch. I quite enjoyed this. Thanks for making and for making not about having to give up some sort of blood sacrifice :D

@peterfonts Thanks so much for your feedback, we where thinking on slowing down the results, the scroll bar sounds really good as well, we will try with both and see which one works better ;D on the other feedback we will consider it if we keep developing the game, thanks for the ideas they are great!

A fun little game. I've yet to play a quiz game on ludum dare, so it was not expected. If you don't save the cats, you're a meanie!
Nice game to play with a unique concept.

It was fun to do a quiz, but the bit with saving people felt pretty random. But it was fun reading the stories of what happened. Nice work :-)

I like the idea of having to choose some people over the others and seeing the consequences. However, I don't really like the quiz mechanic, which felt disconnected with the rest of the game.

The notion of sacrifice make sense in your entry: I had to make choices in my "inner heart". In any case it's an original concept somewhere between jeopardy and tragedy.
