Simple but great idea. Could easily be build upon, by adding different themes and idea cards.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD43 → Jamming Dilemma

Love those idea cards. The art is nice looking and I like that you can actually spin the cards around. Might be a bit light on actual gameplay but a good entry nonetheless.
I like the artstyle and the game jam-ception idea. A bit (too) simple, maybe. Good little game in my opinion, congrats :D (PS: I love the bail out button haha)
A nice play on the theme and the cards are cool.
Pretty simple concept but fun none-the-less :)
Cool idea, and I liked the drawings and the interface. Congrats on making a pretty cool small game for your first LD!
Okay this is a fun little game. It is perhaps a bit too short, but it is great for a first LD game. Well done.
A pretty simple but fun game! A great game for your first ludum dare entry. One problem i faced was when dragging some of the idea cards, some of them would go off screen and i wasn't able to pick them up again. Other than that, good job!
@generictoast we did add walls around the playing field so that the cards can't drift out of bounds when you throw them, but I tested it now, and you can drag them to the corners, and the cards will wiggle away through the polygon intersections :X uh oh
I'm still learning know the small knacks and oddities of Godot's 2D physics engine, I think the easiest way to fix this would be to make the walls four overlapping rectangular polygons, instead of a single polygonal shape (which Godot triangulates). That and/or limiting the position of the dragging anchor via code.
Thank you for the bug report!
Haha, the whole game is a meta-game, love it! Lots of cool ideas that you have to throw away here but as they say, you have to kill your darlings. Good job!
Very meta, I loved that :D The style was pretty and the concept was interesting. It just could've been a bit more fun/challenging.
Fun take on the theme! It did take me a few tries to figure out what I was supposed to do, but I got it pretty quickly after that. It would be neat if you randomly got one of the Ludum Dare #43 theme finalists each time and then had to decide on different possible ideas for each one :)
