For your first ludum dare this is pretty neat! you chose to take on a simple idea but polished it quite nicely. This is exactly what you should do in a ludum dare (Keep it simple and stupid :D ). The theme could've been worked in better, but that's not so important in my opinion. Keep it up!

@stefan-jovanovic Thank you ! The speed scales both with the levels and the difficulty. Although I do admit it gets very hard on the last level, even on "Easy" difficulty xD
@awesomealliterationalliance Thanks for the kind words ! We had a lot more planned if we had time but we preferred to stick to simple first and add more if we get the chance. We are quite happy with what we achieved here :slight_smile:
Funny game! I like it! One problem that I had is that when I messed up it would play a really high screeching audio sound
Simple and hilarious. I also loved that you flipped the theme and WANT the space to get smaller. Great job overall! Hope you place first in Humor!

@drums wow thanks a lot ! This means a lot to us ! Nice of you to notice our twist to the theme, we actually thought it through when brainstorming, should the running out of space be a good or a bad thing ? We can only hope for the first humor place !

Yuss! While I had to stop due to needing sleep before work tomorrow, I've bookmarked the game to come back and play to the end as I really want to see how big my boy here can get. The nomnom sound is very on point. Great fun, good work guys!
I'm not a vegan and like jokes about vegans This game looks like a good joke! :) Fun little game with nice music!
Nice game! I really enjoyed playing this game. Audio and gameplay were the best points. You could scale this game to include a lot of levels and it would be so much fun.
I would have played it more if I didn't have to start from the beginning every time I lose and so I would recommend restarting only the current level instead. The difficulty was a bit too much I think. I even tried the lower difficulty and it seemed almost the same speed or maybe it really is. In the main menu, it is best if you put a close button for each submenu otherwise, the player will be confused thinking there is no way to close the submenu.
These all are small points and not really critical just as a way of improvement. A really big point though is that you kinda missed the theme here :) Anyway, Great work :)

@furiouswitch Thank you the detailed feedback and nice words ! The speed of the "projectiles" does scale with difficulty but yeah, it's very difficult in the latest levels. As for the theme it's kind of a subtle approach, it's just that you want to run out of space between your walls but I admit it's not very obvious. Anyway, Thank you for playing our game !
Funny idea, I like it ! The animation of the oversized guy in the box is really good !!! :smiley:
The way the "walls" are turning (hard to be really precise) and the speed of items arriving make the game really difficult from Level 3, would have maybe preferred a kind of sphere instead of a box so that when turning it it would be the same size everywhere.
And I didn't wanted it but I ate a cat :cry:

Agreed on the speed of the collectibles in the later levels, it's kind of impossible the way the game is xD

Noooooooooooo!! I accidentally ate a puppy!! :cry: :dog2: :hotdog: This game is a brilliant accomplishment, but if you need me to tell you that, then that might be a longer conversation. The concept is unusual. The backstory is kooky. The execution is smoove. Quibble: I would like the movement of the barrier thing to be a little smoother/more accurate. That would help compensate for my lack of skill.
Hey fun concept, you had a nice comedic spin on the game which I enjoyed and story progression too! Towards the end I wasn't sure were missiles and airplanes vegan or non-vegan options in a diet haha.

We might on a version with slower rotation speed and a slower cuve for the speed of the projectiles.

Hello ! I've spent some time playing this, I appreciate the simple and innovative core mechanic, it's truly challenging :) Maybe there should be some way to regain HP ? either by eating special objects, or getting to the next level. Besides that the game is very fun and quick to understand !
I enjoyed the heterogenous graphics and humor as well :) This is a cool submission, congrats !
Yum, yum, yum! Pretty funny game! Never thought I'd enjoy eating carrots! But no, it gets better. Potted plants, cats and dogs! Amazing! Pretty good job!
