That's a very interesting tower defence concept. I would like it to bee a little brightly, cause it's easy to get lost.
Also, there is some problem with the mouse which causes it to sometimes move inaccurate.

Wow no ratings yet?? Howwww this is a little hidden gem here! 💎
Very ambitious and innovative - I love the idea of a true 3D tower defence game and I can see a lot of thinking has gone into the design decisions you've made to make that a reality.
My favourite mechanic is the teleportation turrets! I like the idea of being able to zip around your base to where it's needed most.
To be constructively critical - I think what would help a LOT would be making things clearer with labels, colour coding and GUI overlays so that you know exactly what turret you're building, what it means to upgrade it, being able to clearly differentiate enemies from the rest of the environment, being able to easily see your teleportation turrets are, (maybe warping to them with hotkeys (maybe the number keys) instead of having to look around and click on the tiny distant turrets?) Also a tutorial would be fantastic. Hey even just showing screen shots of what the towers are next to their descriptions on itch.io would be majorly useful.
Well done peeps - lovely stuff 👏
Hi ! This could become a great space tower defense game :) I love how you can place defenses on both sides of each spot ! I ended up using only laser turrets since the other felt useless in my 1st playthrough (I didn't see the description on the itch.io page). Just having the turret name written somewhere on the weapon could help if you don't want to create a tutorial or such ^^ It's also hard to see if it's better to place many turrets or improve them though since I died so baldy after 17 waves I suppose I should have put more area turrets near the core and improved them, maybe. I didn't find how to use the teleport turret but seeing how fast we move I didn't try anyway. The cooldown bars on laser turrets are useless and only clutter the screen when switching modes but it's cool to have access to an interface with all turret's levels (and being able to toggle it off too ^^) that helps a lot :) HP bars are weirdly scaled, too big and too far from the corresponding enemy ship. The player's weapon feel too useless after the 1st 10 waves or so, so I ended up not even using it in the end and concentrating on which turret to place/improve. Maybe having a turret that improves player damage could work ? Also often (~20% of the time) the player's weapon seemed to not hit the enemies (there were no hit "light" and the projectile continued through them). It's weird because turrets could still hit them but I couldn't unless I tried hitting another enemy or changed position (I didn't really catch the real conditions of this happening) It would be great to see something like space debris around the destroyed platforms too ^^ It's only after 16 waves that I understood that enemies reaching the core would destroy 1 platform each. The difficulty increases exponentially around waves 12 to 17. The game really got interesting around those levels and felt really tense, and with all the laser turrets I placed it felt like a space-opera fight, that was great :D I'd love to test again a tweaked version of the game if you continue improving it ;) Good job so far !
thanks for your feedback and kind words everyone !!
thanks you guys @interpol @mediyaz @chronodrax for your feedback ;)
@interpol we are aware of this problem (but we don't understand it exactly). You will not suffer from this with the windows version.
@mediyaz we know that GUI isn't our best point (even in our previous entries :stuck_out_tongue:) i will do some modifications on the game but we will not have time for what you said (even if you are giving good ideas). And for the teleport on hotkeys, we thought of that solution but too late, the current way was already coded. But we are agreeing with the fact that it would have been a good solution :stuck_out_tongue: !
@chronodrax we know that the other turret might seams useless but we made some game balance modifications to be sure that every turret is useful (even the teleport turret with their low price and their low cooldown ) also for the shoot problem, I think that you were enduring one of our implementation choices. Every shoot is done by raycasting only (the particle effects is only visual). We are planning on changing this. I think we will also make the modifications you said on health bars ;)
Thanks you again guys for your feedbacks
Pretty neat tower defense game!
It took me a while to figure out where the enemies were on the first wave; I think a lighter colour scheme would help in a lot of places. Space is dark! Make things bright!
The player's gun feels really anemic. I realize this is probably by design to encourage turret use, but perhaps it might be better to simply remove the gun all together, or replace it with something that is more for support (such as a weapon that slows enemies)
Agree with earlier comments on giving more info via the HUD. Health, upgrade amount, etc. Right now it seems I need to go up and inspect each turret to see it's upgrade amount. There might have been visual differences, but I didn't notice them during my playthrough.
Overall really fun! I see you're working on it post-compo, keep at it! I'd love to see where this ends up!
Hi @fireslash,
I can not restrain my self to encourage you to play again by pressing the alt or tab key of your keyboard :stuck_out_tongue: There is multiple display mode and they are showing the upgrade level/cooldown of turret and the health level of enemies (it also helps you to notice them)
I'll notify you when there is a new version available. I'll work on this today and tomorrow after work ;)
This thing somehow managed to freeze my PC when I tried to play web version...?
The controls and concept were pretty sweet, and I liked the tower defense aspect of the gameplay. As others have mentioned already, my biggest criticism would be the difficulty in distinguishing friend from foe - the enemy models were too similar to the rest of the environment.
It was also hard to tell if my laser was ineffective or if the bullets were going 'through' enemies as others have mentioned. Either way, it would be nice if firing the weapon and hitting the target felt more 'rewarding'.
hi @grizeldi and thanks you for your comments, our GRP played a little (a lot ?) with lights and particle effects so I think that's why. Try the windows version, I don't know why but it seams to be less 'freezing' :p
thanks you for your feedback @scottyseus, we didn't want our game to became an fps so we introduce this gun manage directly by the player to only help with the early waves. I really like the idea mention by @fireslash to have a freezing gun who slows enemies which could help with any waves.
Nice game, I like it! Graphics are really cool, and audio is great as well! Keep up the good work!
Great game! Very cool and interesting! :D
Took me a while to understand what I was looking for. But the controls and movement were very well done. Overall nice job!
@fireslash New version !!!
@cristihkj @drums thanks you for your feedback
Really fun game! Nice graphics too! This game is absolutely amazing, I would definitely play it again. Keep up the good work.
I appreciate the progression of the difficulty, but it seems the amount of enemies that get spawned stays at a limit and no longer feels that challenging. It also would've been nice if they were some pictures of what the turrets were because I was confused for what some did for a while. Decent game!
Thanks you for your feedback ;)
@michelle I have a good news for you. You CAN play it again :p @bustosman Yeah you are right we should have done something like that :/
Sad news, I don't think we will continue to work on it :/ but we are happy you liked our game ;) please recommend us to your friends
I like the idea and creativity. Awesome job.
