Love the reload mechanic although some UI to explain it and show you ammo would have been nice, concept is fun and original, and I really enjoyed playing :).

Nice game but ends to fast. Overally 4
The hero is just too cute when he moves! And played well because it's take a long time to make a game in 3D even if there are always tricks. The graphics took us some time for our game :) In short, it's a simple game but nice!
Thank you everybody. We would have liked to make the gameplay more clear. The right-click to reload mechanic is pretty hard to guess without reading the instructions.
Nice Game, Fun and Original!
Quite an interesting mechanic. While playing shooters you typically just reload whenever you can but in this game it can backfire. Art was cool! Only thing I kind of missed which would fit quite well in games like this is either a point system or something to work towards, but you can't have it all in Ludum Dare ;). Overall a fun and innovative game!
Edit: Ludum Dare site lagging on me, not sure how to remove the other two comments ><

Haha thank you @cresceda I take your comments as extra feedback . I agree with what you say, maybe next time!
It's difficult to decide to make a 3D game in only 72h, but definitely you made a good job! I love the player's animation!
I enjoyed the game play, The decision to destroy the tile when you reload is unique in my experience. I feel like the game needs a jumping mechanic. often times i would find myself instinctually hitting spacebar to head over to another tile instead of waiting for it to level out so i could move onto it.
The game was very good! I enjoyed playing it for sure. I'm not quite sure what the moving platforms did to benefit the game play, so I probably would have done without that mechanic personally. I also would have liked to have more feedback on things like shooting, taking damage, and enemies taking damage... I found myself pretty low on health without really knowing it (even just like a little sound effect that plays when those events happen would have been enough I think). But yeah, nicely done!
Fun Game! I think the run animation on the player could do with some work, but I liked the art style and gameplay mechanics. Some feedback to show you have been hit apart from the health bar would be great. I think the tile bobbing is a great mechanic, as well as the player being responsible for running themselves out of space. I enjoyed playing. The music is good, and not too repetitive, which is very nice to see.
I found a bug where if you go off the edge and walk back towards a tile you get stuck and the enemies cannot hit you and you cannot die or get back up.
I really enjoyed the graphics and the concept/use of theme. I feel the game play could have been tuned a little more to make for a smoother experience. Overall well done. :)
Such a good idea!
Nice ideas here, I kinda wish the monsters spawned a little more frequently so make the r-clicks a tougher decision to make on the fly. I was able to plan out and maximize the reloads decently as is. I disagree w some above comments, I actually really liked the moving platforms (I didn't know r-click was a mechanic on first play), but I thought it added a lot of variance to how you moved on the platforms. Without it, you could just keep 1 patch alive and keep abusing that, but in your version you had to keep some width to the paths in order to not get blocked by a raised platform. Very nice game design touch!
A good game idea, the music should be improved. The graphics are good. Try our game too, maybe you'll like it)
Graphics were pretty good for this game.
This was awesome, loved the mechanic! I hope you continue on with this
I really like the idea of the theme and the reload mechanics. The game was way to hard for me playing with only a touchpad but it did help that I could use space to shoot at least. It would have been nice with full keyboard controls. It was hard to notice when the monsters were hurting and they were a bit too quick on the attack. So I really never got anywhere near running out of space, I just ran out of life. My suggestion would be to have the monsters take bites rather than continuous damage and have a clear effect each time that happens. Also make them easier, at least at start, so that the challenge is actually the management or space/reloads. The tiles ought also reflect how damaged they are with cracks or similar. So I like the ideas quite a lot but the feedback and balancing needs some work to make them shine.
I tried playing it, but it nearly crashed my laptop.
Great implementation of scarcity. The way the theme is used is super clear, but yet I would have not come up with it. Graphics and controls are solid, so great job!
Thank you everybody! Your feedback is very much appreciated ;)
@raccoon-js Unity's webgl builds can be pretty expensive to run, you can try running the native Windows version. It will prompt a pretty ugly security warning but it's safe to run. That said the game is not really much optimised
Nice idea but a intro would be great and it would also be nice to add ui menu of controls. By thw way nice visuals.
Simple but solid. Good job!
yeah, games with hexagonically shaped ice floes are the best (hinti di hint hint...)! The enemies reminded me a bit of those lizard thingies from ocarina of time. The gameplay is simple but very enjoyable. The only thing missing would be a some sort of highscore system, but apart from that solid game!
