wow that was a really cool game
Fantastic. Really polished and smooth. Tricky but playable.
LOVE the cat :D! really nice music =)
WOW, impressive! I love the sound when you're in the water! Really cool to see 3D in the browser! The movement works well and everything. If I had a gripe, it would be that it feels like the camera's a bit low to the ground.
Awesome game! Tight gameplay, fun concept and nice music!
Love it!
That's a nice survival game.
Good Gaming Idea, Music needs to be improved Graphics good
Why does jumping motion has no inertia, and simple movements do? But may be it's just me, was always bad at jumping around X) Beautiful art and level-design!
Really like the game, there is quite a lot of work to be done on the movement part. But the overall snappy response of the controls did work out to my advantage in controlling my player in the air. Really loved the music, it gave me some old school donkey kong country vibes.
Good concept. Great sound and fun to play with. There's too many coins to collect with very little time. I guess I'm just bad at playing it.
Nice prototype, wish the camera was a little higher, sound effects are neat
Very clean HTML5 game. When I first heard the drowning sound, I laughed for a solid minute. Very interesting concept and fun game. Reminds me a lot of some old PS2 games, like Spyro, or Toy Story specifically.
Great work!
The idea was nice and well polished, although the jumping felt a little weird for me.
@jay-wye There is not enough time to collect them all so don't worry if you don't get them all. ;) Most we got in one run was about 90 I think. We put in so many so that you'll always have enough coins no matter which route you take.
@markd Yeah, I agree on the movement. We used the standard first person controller for Unity and it still took about a day to get it to were it is now. In hindsight it would have been better to make one from scratch since the controller isn't meant for platforming games. It also weirdly coded so expanding on it was quite difficult.
@decentsauce The first thing I do in most of my projects, is throw out the Unity character controller if I need anything else other than prototyping movement. It is easier most of the time to create a limited controller tailored for your project, than modifying the standard character controller (rigidbody I guess in this case), because as you said, it is a weird piece of code and difficult to expand properly on.
Nice game, nice visuals and sounds the controlls arent perfect but nice game overall.
