I've seen very few games with a scope as large as this and the same amount of polish. You seem to have both. I honestly played this for like half an hour! Loved it, no complaints!

Good entry! I think the graphics were very nice and especially the buildings. It was a bit difficult to get your head around the rules of the game though.
@htmichael Thank you so much! Means alot to us that you like it. :)
@wujood Thanks for the feedback man! We're happy you like our game! :)
@htmichael Wow were really glad you liked it we apreciate it! @wujood ok but i hoped you managed to get a little out of it :)
@lausemand @procezz Can i ask which of you did the art and which did the programming?
@htmichael We did art and programming both, i mainly focused on UI and Graphics, while @lausemand mainly focused on the code. But we did both actually :)
Wow. What a team! I can see how you pulled off this game now 😂
@htmichael Haha! It's not our first Ludum Dare tho, we also participated in the previous one. And we're both not new to programming and unity either. We also have experience with Lua and Python. Your game is actually pretty good aswell! :) Thank you for all the nice feedback, and keep creating dude
@procezz Thanks for the support! I've got to say the Lundem Dare community is really nice and I was a bit weary at first so I didn't even share my age in case it would some how back fire. But I've really liked this experience and am defiantly coming back for December. Love to see what you've done then!
I'm 15 BTW, forgot to add that 😂😂😂
@htmichael No problem, and thank you!
19 days... That's how long it took for comets to destroy my little town  I was so proud of that town. People went to school there, had jobs there, they were happy! Only sad thing is that I was saving for that super fancy skyscraper, but the town got destroyed just 1 turn before I had 500$ :(
Anyway, I loved the game. It's pretty cute and makes you really want to build the whole city. Also love the chancegame when the comet comes around. Some feedback: it seems that some of the money values are a bit off, for example when I had 30$ and I bought something that was 30$ I would still be left with 5$ in my pocket. This happened with multiple building types, actually. Furthermore, I would love to have a function to also rotate the view around my city (for inspiration, maybe look at my LD40 game, untouched). But I get it if you don't want to work on this anymore, you did very well and you can be proud!
Good job and thank you for making it :D
@virtual-turtle-studio Wow thanks for the feedback! Yes we did notice that there were some bugs in the game. We dont think we will work further on it but who knows? But we realy apreciate your feedback, THANKS! :D
Something felt good about hoarding a lot of future skyscrapers, LOL

Thank you for making this game! Love the art and catchy music :)
@mikixen Thanks! And just so you know you have the record of surviving the longest and have the most money! Thanks man!
Really great game!, Iforgot about power and ended up making more money and losing in day 6 XD.
@alien Yeah. You are not the only one
Had a quick play of this at lunch at work today, but I'll be coming back later to give it another go. The graphics are a little lacking, but that can be forgiven when the gameplay is this well put together. Excellent job for a jam entry, I'd love to see you expand on this, make some nicer art and take this game further, I feel it deserves it.
@historymaker118 Thank you so much man! Maybe we'll continue to work on the game i honestly don't know. But I'm happy you like it!
The look and feel of the game is very well-polished. Having the music cut out when the meteor falls between days adds to the tension of watching it land and praying that it doesn't hit something important.
However, it seems like the meteors are bouncing off of antennas rather than destroying them on impact. I'm assuming that's not intended behavior? In fact, side effect of my spamming them as soon as I can afford to...

...this tends to happen. The meteor just tumbles over the top of an antenna, gets wedged between a pair of them, and sits there forever.
Hmm, might have something to do with the collision code, we'll try to look into that. But I am however not sure we'll be able to fix it and update the game before LD42 ends. But i am glad you like it! Thank you!
Fun game. I would have loved to have the people as a resources to make gameplay little more challenging.
@thecommonthug yeah but we only had a weekend, but people is a good idea...There is so many things we can add....Maybe we DO make a sequel...WHO KNOWS?
Fun game! An interesting take on the simcity tycoon type games. It's kind of funny that for a split second you see the meteors bounce off of the ground xD
I'd also like it more if the camera angle was more of a bird's eye view, right now it's a little hard to build things on squares that are covered by another building.
@mateusboga yeah it is a little wonky with the camera angles. But were glad that you liked it
Very awesome game. Loved it.
Great game. Nice graphics and well polished. Simple and good music.
Saw a few collision issues here and there, nothing major.
However, after a few days I figured I was doing well on power and money and was just clicking the 'Next Day' button endlessly. Maybe you can have multiple asteroids at a time during later parts of the game falling instead of just one.
Also, I thought the nuclear power plant generates too much power. I had one power plant which was generating enough power for the remaining buildings.

Overall, a very enjoyable game. Would love to know if you guys are continuing on making this game or a sequel.
@alisiena Thanks  @keyurrana Yeah we did notice the collision error. Were really glad you lied it. And im beggining to think of making a sequel........HMMMmm????
Hey, nice game! fallingTown.png. A couple of issues that could be improved: - the comet is sometimes colliding with buildings and instead of destroying a tile it just rolls around for a while. After that is sometimes just disappears and sometimes it destroys the tiles during the next day. - a few times I thought there might be something wrong with mouse interaction, but later on it turned out that I was actually trying to click a tile through the semi-transparent background behind the UI elements. I guess it could be a little bit more visible. - it could use a way to skip / speed up the night phase. In the later days, when the game is basically just pressing the "next day" button, it really feels like it's taking forever. :) - it's very easy to build up all the available terrain, and after a few days all that's left of the gameplay is pressing the "next" button and waiting to see how long the city lasts. Maybe you could add a way to replace buildings (or remove buildings so you can build on the freed space). I guess the removal should cost some resources to not make the game too easy). - the camera sometimes makes it difficult to build new buildings. is there a way to rotate the camera? I've tried dragging the mouse, but it doesn't do anything for me.
@lcstark Yeah it was limited what we could add. But thanks for the feedback
I like the theme of the game, I just thought it was too easy, once you have your first future skyscraper and a couple of mills, its all about pressing the next day button, and hoping for the comet not to hit your town hall.
@nam-nguyen yeah were looking in to make it more fun if we continue e
Challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/pT1wbP1q_Ao
@jupiter-hadley WOW! Thanks you very much. We do realy apriciate
