Fun mechanic! I like the way you blended those two genres.It could be further explored and turned into an interesting game ^^
I don't think I was able to deal any cards. I mean, I hit the guys with the cards. I hit the place-mats in front of them with the cards, but the cards always deflected away. Cool concept, and I like the style.

@sndr I indeed have some distant plans to turn this into a more fully-fleshed-out game. I had such dreams of grandeur on Friday, haha... those ideas are still ripe for the picking!
@fashionbatman @BelowParallel_Ian It sounds like the game was perhaps not working as intended, but I thought I tested it thoroughly... there's some chance that you weren't "far enough" into the game, but I'll keep an eye out for more feedback. Thanks for playing!

Launching cards was surprisingly fun. Like the other commenters, I had trouble getting the cards to stay on the table but I had fun knocking their hats off :).
The air conditioner felt a bit mean. I was never able to keep a card anwhere near the green squares, let alone try to deal 21 to anyone
Never has dealing cards been more difficult. Also, those chaps are reckless. Not standing on a 17 is a recipe for disaster. Knocking their hats off and switching off the AC was more or less the only thing I managed to do. Very interesting idea and an entertaining execution, but I'd say it wouldn't hurt to make actually *dealing* the cards properly easier. :)
Ayy, completed it! :) I liked their comments, pretty fun! I didn't realise what right click did at first and so I was trying to play blackjack 3 times haha.. But after figuring that out and getting the hang of it I thought it was a fun little mini game, good on you for getting back into LD!
Got close to completing it... took me three times... first time I didn't realize I could do anything about the A/C, thought this whole thing was a joke, then saw some comments, figured that out, then didn't realize I could know which cards are which, and figured out what the right mouse button did, then, finally, managed to deal some 21, 'til a card bounced onto the wrong placemat -_-. I had a lot of difficulty getting cards to land, maybe 1 in 10 shots, not sure if I was missing some technique or if it was just hard.
Cute and ridiculous genre combination ^_^.
