Love these graphics! Congrats on the game, GG!

I love the graphics but the control is not under my control (the rotation and aiming with arrow key is not very convenient as mouse). The golf theme is good and I think melee attack with golf club should not be the main focus of the gameplay. Making the golf ball strike more powerful will make golf gameplay more smooth. The melee and golf ball strike are conflicting and interrupted in my opinion. If I am not mistaken, the golf ball strike has equal or less damage as melee. You can add more graphics feedback to the strike to make it (seems) more powerful too.

This is one of the best submissions i've played!

Hey @CosmicCrystalGames ! Enjoyed the game, only played through 1 hole, got Par, and the concept fits the theme really well! I did find the sound to be super annoying when attacking the enemies. Also pressing escape in the title menu doesn't quite the game. I had to Alt + F4. Also the lack of being able to look up or down with the camera makes making golf shots super difficult in close quarters. Either way, great game! And great job on the Jam!

The game was fun and it looked really good! The only thing I didn't like about it was the sounds that the enemies made when attacking so I tried to avoid attacking unless I needed to.

I beat it with a score of -8. Great graphics, like the others have said. I wish that there was more combat like the boss in the earlier stages, since they got a little repetitive, but that's part of a jam and there's definitely a lot of potential if you want to expend it. I also think it could have used mouse aiming.

Cool graphics, music and world. The concept is interesting too. Showing the controls on the UI was a neat idea.

I personally don't like turning the view with the side keys so I wasn't fan of the controls.

I didn't get what the end goal of the game was so I stopped after 2 or 3, hum... goals ? Dunno what it's called in golf. I couldn't tell what the special power did or what the difference between the 3 characters were. I also didn't get what was the point of the enemies, there didn't seem to have any bonus for killing them and they only attacked if I went very closed to them, so I basically just ignored them. So overall I guess the game could do with a bit more information on the mechanics and what you're supposed to do.

You managed to put a lot of things in this game for the time of the jam so good job with that ! The game's pretty neat and if you plan to work a bit more on it, it could be even better.

I believe it's an amazing achievement to create something like this in 72 hours! I liked everything about this game, and I actually had a lot of fun with the controls not despite, but *because of* the fact they were limiting and similar to what you'd expect in a retro game. The game itself was also very comical for me, and fighting off a monster boss in a square 3D level with a golf stick is one of the highlights of this jam for me.

A bit stiff controls but great looking game with good controls :) Fantastic effort overall :)

If you can check out mine, definitely not as polished but still fun :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/sam

This game comes with a very unique and innovative combination of genre. The game would benefit from a mini map or some kind of indicator where the goal is and where your ball is. Also The controls feel a little bit clumsy. The graphics look neat and the sound supports the atmosphere of a dungeon. But the enemy's do not engage in combat so you can completely ignore them. Nevertheless great Game.

The graphics are pretty nice! Controls were kind of clunky, and it's a bit harder for someone like me who gets motion sick sometimes with first person controls. Concept is pretty innovative though! It'd be nice if there's a hole indicator - but the ball indicator is a good quality of life inclusion!
