I'm not sure if you saw, but I played your game on my stream tonight https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames
I think this would have made an excellent VR game. I failed to understand how to interact with objects, so I didn't get to lean the main room, but the art style and voice was really well done.
I"m not a fan of horror, so I"m not sure if its possible to combine horror and comedy. Comedy has you at ease and relaxed where horror is meant to make you uncomfortable and unbalanced. The two seem exclusive. Comedy in horror seems like it would be placed to relieve tension, and if done poorly would be even more unnerving like the movie Get Out.
Went in quite blind (had not read the entire description) and had a genuine laugh when (spoiler) a massive fridge with googly eyes started scolding me in the kitchen. I've seen a few entries playing with this type of genre combination but I think yours is the most successful this far! My only real issue with the game was not having a single clue of the objective when starting up (use the start menu) and the FoV seemed slightly too narrow for me, even for a horror game.
Great job!

I never thought I'd find myself being startled by a chair with googly eyes ha ha. Genuinely made me laugh and scared so I'd say you've accomplished what you set out to do. One issue I had was I struggled to find the last fuse which was a shame because I really wanted to complete the game, but still a good effort!
@Pixelcode This NEEDs to be a VR title. Please reach out to me after you've rested.
If you made this in Unity I think we might be able to port it to Steam VR with the right plugin.
@saoi-games It'd be really cool to put it over to VR, however I don't own a VR-kit, so testing would be difficult :) I did see your stream, and would love it if you gave the game another go (and press 'E' to interact with objects such as doors ;) ). If you'd like to get in touch with me you could hop on my Discord! https://discord.gg/2fHTA2N

Here you go.
@PerfectHumanInterface Thank you so much for your feedback! The fuses blend in quite well, but they are there ;) We're planning to release a more polished version that addresses the inconsistency with the drawers, the FoV and we're also thinking of porting to VR. Thanks again!

This is a scarily funny game. Well done.

Nice concept! I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do, but this was very atmospheric!

I've beaten this one. It has a nice atmosphere and humor. Some batteries are disappeared from their regular locations time to time (or change their location, don't know is it bug or feature). Also, you are able to go outside through the front door which doesn't have a collision. (again - it may be an easter egg) In general - the game is fun (especially voiceover) and challenging. Good luck with a future voting! Fun fact: You can get stuck in one room with talking toilet and 4 chairs on the 1st floor **F O R E V E R** :D

Interesting game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 41 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrYzQfgK9hU
Great job! I liked the environment a lot, but I had problems with the batteries and with some colliders.
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.

When I read the description of the game I thought that horror and comedy are not so incompatible. Usually I laugh a lot in horror movies. But while I was playing the game and found the first live furniture I understod what you mean! Really good job, I had a lot of fun playing this.
Please, take a look at my game too: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/confessional

I don't see what's funny here, I live in Skåne and this is precisely why I don't own a toaster.

Hahaha! Great game! I haven't read description before playing, so I thought it would be an ordinary horror game. I'm impressed by this idea and execution!
I cannot believe I got spooked by a talking chair! You got me good. I think you nailed the humor/horror very well as every jump scare I encountered was followed by a laugh. This was entertaining. :)
