Nice game, cool music ! Difficult to play two game at the time, it reminds me my game but yours is harder !
Cool music, Nice Art!! 5/5!!
cant wait to try your game we made kind of a similar game a racing 3d Platform game check it out and give us your feedback we hope you will like it https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/incompatible-rally
Wow, that was difficult. I am already bad at rhythm games and the multitasking made didn't help, so I was mostly crawling along :D That being said, I really loved the music and the art style. Feels very polished and probably a lot of fun if you are any good at this type of game ;)
Writing scripts after an LDJAM is somewhat tedious, but the game was a lot of fun! ;)
It was pretty good. I presume this was a JAM game because theres no 'source code'. God job though, especially for your first gamejam. (And hey, it was my first gamejam too :p)
WTF the game gets very hard very fast...
I feel like I leveled up in rythm games just by playing this game. Taking care of the rythm game and moving the car at the same time made my brain so some extra work.
Some things: -The game needs a objective. It's fun but it gets old fast without something to strive for -The moving the car mechanic was way to simple. Maybe putting some obstacles in the road and making the rythm game a bit easier would create an overall better experience.
The idea was very good!
Kepp up the great work!
That was fun! was difficult at first until i got the hang of it and the music was sick. Really good work!
Wasn't expecting to see a Scratch game here. Very good for a first try. I could just about keep up with the rhythm notes, but I couldn't steer at the same time, and when the notes started getting faster I honestly just gave up. I'm not dextrous enough for this. Very good demonstration of incompatibility, though, and I enjoyed it all the same.
It's a great concept and idea for the theme and I personally loved the challenge of trying to concentrate on the two things at once! It could be a game a person could practice for a long time to try and master. Very good!
Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare submission. Welcome to the world of Game Development! I hope I'll see u in future jams too!
Now onto the game itself, to start of about the theme, the incompatibility is great, but it doesn't feel that the genres u choose are incompatible. It's more that a person is almost unable to do two things at the same time.
Graphics wise, can't really say anything. For a game made in scratch, a solo person and a first game jam, I would say good work. It all looks even, nothing that feels weird. Maybe only the end score boxes, but I suppose that's a scratch limit.
Gameplay itself wise, just as some people above said. The game is hard. Like really hard, this is mostly due to a person not being able to do two things at the same time, so not really your fault. It's fun, simple, perfect for your first game jam, now I only accept better. 😉
Feedback and idea on what u could do better: It would be great to have some kind of visual feedback that you got a arrow right. Difficulty wise, maybe u could make it easier as a start, and then ramp up difficulty. Just so that people can understand the mechanics before freaking out. A way to make the game easier is Maybe add some kind of indication how the road is going to be soon.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed the couple of minutes I played the game for, and we understand the hard work needed to create something like this! 😊 Our team also worked hard to create a game for the jam. You can check it out [here](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/wizsnooks)! 🐳
The game is very nice and poliched.
I don't find where is racing gameplay (only graphics?)
That was fun! Really good work!
We're first time game jammers, so pretty fresh to the scene. That said I can't add to what's been said. It might have been fun to go the way of Harmoknight, where the rhythm section advances you forward. That way the success of the rhythm game would determien your racing standard. Having an opponent would have gone a long way as well with finite races. Keep up the good work! Make sure to give ours a quick look as well.

Really nice job. Difficult! but good.
Holy crap this game is hard. It was fun, but hard. I played through twice and didn't reach the end either time. good job with the implementation of the themes though. More fun than most rhythm games that I've played.
The music sync is a bit off so it's hard to play, but I like the concept and it looks good. And it's really interesting to see a Ludum Dare entry written in Scratch!
First of all, congrats on creating a game in Scratch during Ludum Dare. I used it too for a previous LD, and it's quite a challenge when you script goes larger it's rather tedious to edit your blocks.
The game is very nice, I love the audio and graphics, and it's spot on on the theme (it's very hard to do both tasks at the same time). However, as a big fan of DDR, there are a couple of suggestion that might help you improve it: - Sometimes it's hard to see whether we got the arrow of we missed. You should had a little animation saing "perfect" or "Ok" for every arrow that was successfully hit, like the real DDR games - The song is very long, and it's hard to "keep the rythm" for several minutes. Maybe you should split it in shorter 1min-1min30 songs and do several levels. - It would be cool to add "speed meter" on the GUI, so we could now whether the car is running at full speed or not.
Anyway, congrats on your entry!
I'm bad in those two games genres, so I didn't made very good plays of this one, but this is a good idea and a good take of the theme, well done!
I really liked the multitasking in this. It needs some more feedback on how well you're doing in the rhythm section, but its still fun. Great job!
