So that's what its like to not use adblocker? Nice game!
If you read this please test this game LOT OF FUN/HUMOR and useful squills for your life futur.
hahahaha well. I have PTSD, but it really made me laugh
Heh, I actually had a similar idea early on but went with something else! Nice game, it got lots of chuckles from me.
Hilarious! Love the concept. I think its too hard right now (unless that's the point), and the embedded ad shooting mechanic is overshadowed by the click to close windows mechanic.
Really well done i liked it however i may have tried to actually open the add that said "win ludumdare in one click" lol
This gave me anxiety, good job :D
I really liked the idea of moving a character whilst closing windows on a desktop. Great use of the combination of mouse and keyboard. The idea was certainly innovative and I also liked the time-saving adverts.
Make it just a bit easier; I kept dying because I do not have inhuman reactions. Also, the aesthetic of the man running on the bottom of the screen did not fit the rest of the game. Perhaps you could use another window which we have to move around?
In conclusion, a very neat concept turned into a funny game.
Despite being simple, this game is quite fun. Good job!
I really felt a bit confused with the playable character, I learned what to do with it only after a few tries. It became quickly repetitive, and I didn't have the time to read the content of the adds, which were probably funny ;)
Haha, so stressfull game, remind me some uncle's PC ! (what a nightmare). Very fun and hilarious !
Good concept, thanks for this game ^^
@sir-magic Thanks for the feedback ^^. The game gets progressively difficult at an exponential rate, inspired by the theme. Might've grown too fast haha
Haha pretty good. If you get behind on closing popups you will never catch back up. It certainly gets worse the more you have.
Hahahahha it is amazing, i loved the bluescreen Game Over :joy:
Fun game, the concept is really simple but I love it, you must have had so much fun doing the ads. I love it ! Everything works, the theme, the humour with the ads text and the bluescreen. Good job guys :)
@gozz Can confirm had lots of fun making the ads xD
@gozz Definitely, had to disable my adblock to look at some ads for inspiration :D
Hey! Saw your comment on our game, very cool to see a similar idea! Our original idea was actually going to have you doing something else underneath all the ads as well, but we simply ran out of time :P
I really liked the time-slowing powerup ad, that was a super nice touch!
Good job! Once I realized that those power up ads were not a scam and some ads weren't closing because they were asking me whether I was sure I wanted to close them, the game became a little easier. The difficulty still rose very quickly, though!
I wish we had been able to shoot anywhere on the screen instead of left or right. Great humor and ending screen!
This game is comedic genius! Seriously, the player background game-play wasn't even needed, just a spam of adds with multiple close modes would've been better (ie, mouse only gameplay) but it was so well made! I got around 10k before i kept dying so im no pro xD
It's a living nightmare! :sob:
Simple concept, but I really love the theme with the ads, absolutely fantastic :joy:
Pretty awesome idea! I think it's a little bit random that you control a dude that's running around dodging embedded ads, it could have worked just fine as a mouse point-and-click and have your computer crash when too many ads popped up, but it was fun and it also worked the way you did it. So nice job!
