I like the way that the multiple different kinds of art-style in the platforming section interact with each-other. I particularly liked the enemy art design and found the timing of the oscillating purple floor things to be interestingly difficult to figure out.

The music was nicely atmospheric and fit the mood well but was a bit short and didn't loop extremely well, so it felt a bit jarring every time the track finished and restarted.

I really like "knowledge" as a thing that fits the theme, which I assume is what you were going for here.

I got Ending B, so I dumped his sorry ass :D

Story wise, it's fun, it's well done Art wise, 2 Thumbs up, well done, it feels so nostalgic to me, I love it. Music wise, I like it, doesn't feel like it's looping really, it fits well with the theme Game wise, two things: I love the shooting mechanics, I like how it upgrades as you progress through the game.

What I did not like is the camera, the camera seems to cut abruptly when you're jumping? or when you're going higher on the screen.

Also, the edges of platforms, the character would not read that too well, and even though you land on a ledge, you fall straight down nonetheless.

Otherwise this game was fun, great ambiance, nice little story, great job!

I liked the atmosphere instantly when I opened the game. The music, art and storytelling contributed to it. I enjoyed the concept, but the gameplay was so unforgiving with the small landing spots between spikes and the attack spam from the enemies. Promising game!

Really loved the overall mood of this game. The spirit world mechanic was well done; I just wish the platforming controlled better. Interesting multi-ending concept! Good use of the theme.

Using 'j' to fire was a little bit awkward, but otherwise, a really neat idea for a game!

Nice job! The platforming part of it was very nice, and I liked how getting more crystals made more enemies spawn. How many endings were there? I got ending A and ending B. The art was very "Madoka"-ish, and I thought that was really nice. It sometimes made the platforms a little bit hard to see, though. Overall, it was really nice though!

First, good job on the team work, with so many people with different roles it is often difficult to collaborate well. The game length is surprisingly long, you did well to create so much content. I think I did everything and received Ending C... :knife:

The main issue, as previously mentioned, is the camera. I suggest adding interpolation so the camera doesn't snap too suddenly, making it jumpy. Also when the UI pop up menus are near the top of the screen, part of the menu is cut off, making it impossible to read. Please be careful about camera next time.

The minor improvements I noted: * Make art more consistent because some assets look 2D like character and monsters, but some look 3D like crystal and heart * Add a sprite frame for attacking so it is less strange that energy comes out of her body instantly * Remove UI prompt to confirm inspecting an object, it is redundant because the player already confirmed by pressing with K

What I like the most is the art and the music. The graphics for the cover and story characters part is very well done. The music fits the game perferctly. I enjoyed this entry a lot and I hope you make more games in the future.

This game had a lot of style to it. The art was really interesting and I loved the look of the spirit world. The use of the slowly developing story worked really well in my opinion, (although I must admit I only got ending B). The gameplay whilst effective and smooth had a few small things that could be improved. I felt that some jumps were a bit too precise. Whilst this is fine, it was a bit inconsistent as every other jump was pretty simple, so there were some difficulty spikes. The only other issue was that I would have to press K multiple times before it actually registered as doing anything. But overall this was an enjoyable experience.

This game and style usually aren't my thing but this one sucked me in and I played through all of it (and there's a surprising amount of game here).

I got ending C after everything, but I think I collected most of the crystals throughout the game and did everything I could.

The music was nice, the platforming worked well, but some sound effects would have gone a super long way to adding to the already good game feel.

I'm glad you don't reset progress when I die, I was ready to be frustrated when I got killed but all I had to do was restart the area, so I was happy about that.

Nice work!

The setting and feeling of the game is fantastic. Has some sort of nostalgic feeling to it, and the premise is something that can hook people into forgiving some of the game's shortcomings.

While the art direction is a hit-or-miss because of how many different styles were chosen, I kinda liked it, specially on the platforming sections. The rest is alright, and the gameplay is, well, simple, but not intrusive. Multiple endings are always a bonus.

My main complain, which is a big turn off, is that the game needed a bit more of proof reading. For something where the story is a big deal, finding so many writing errors is a problem.

Regardless, this submission has a lot of feeling to it, which I find very refreshing, considering that most entries so far have been diluted madness. My team wishes you a good judging period. Cheers! :whale:

What a poethic way to tell the story of a jealous girlfriend who spy on her boyfriend. I like the interpretation of the theme.

Was an interesting game to play. I really loved the atmosphere with the style of the art and the music tied together. Felt very mystical to play, and was fun finding more of the story. I ended up getting endings A, B, and C, and was happy to see that they are dramatically different from one another. My only suggestions would be to possibly increase the jump length or the jump height since jumping felt like it needed to be at a precise spot to be able to jump over the purple flames, and that the game could use more sound effects (like when the monsters die or when the character gets hurt). Overall, I really enjoyed the experience.
