I would like to test your game, but downloading the project, I have no clue about how to run any executable. The bat file doesn't launch anything. Tell me more please ++

That was pretty fun. Nice music. I didn't read the controls on this page before my first attempt, and I pretty much lost instantly. Once I read the controls, it went much better. Score of 10880 I think. A little something in-game would be nice before the song plays!

You'll need to have Java installed to run the game, [download here](https://java.com/en/download/). If it still doesn't work then, you can either add Java to the system path and use the .bat file, or set Java to be the default program for running .jar files.

Even after reading the controls, I can't get any input to do anything except the r key to restart. Sad.

Nice 'guitar hero-ish' games interpretation for the theme. Good work :)

Great game. My only complaints are that you don't have the song end, and no high score tracker.

Nice take on the theme! I made a music (not-quite rhyhtm) game too. The controls here are clever--it's not just left right and up, you have to tap space too, which I think works really well.

Cool music and visual effects too!

I think you're the only rhythm game I've seen in this whole roster, so you already won me on that! :V

I love rhythm-based games like Pop'n Music and Guitar Hero, and I think you kinda mixed some Pop'n with GH here (energy bits look a bit like PnM's track buttons and the mechanic of holding a key then pressing another reminded me of the chord/pick mechanic in GH).

Really nice work on the soundtrack, synchro and overall game mechanics! I did like it a lot! ;)

Good job there! And nice take on the theme too! :D It's kinda hard checking rhythm-based games here, so it's always a nice view to see one!

I'm sorry, I kinda double clicked the publish button and this happened! So I'll use this second comment to say one more personal opinion on the game: like on Guitar Hero, you could include a press + pick button mode, so people with less practice can play it right away! ;)

Pretty fun! nice work on getting the notes to be in time with the song. Was pretty hard but enjoyable!

I'd prefer more space for a mistake at the start of the game, but nevertheless, it's fun. :)

Usually, rhythm games are too simple, but this one differs because you need to switch between the tracks.

Thanks for the game!

An interesting deviation from typical rhythm games; I don't think I have yet seen the main mechanic of switching tracks in any other rhythm game. The gameplay was simple yet fairly satisfying, however I would have to echo a comment above stating the very beginning should have a little more room for error, as dying straight away gives a new player little time to understand the mechanics (without looking at the controls on the LD page, that is). My main complaint is something for which you aren't to be blamed - for some reason, the game plays absolutely no sound when I run it (this issue is almost certainly something wrong on my part, so I won't take any points off or anything). Still, I feel I haven't really experienced the game as it should be played because of this issue, which is a bummer. Nevertheless, what I have experienced was pretty well-done. Good job!

Fun game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwlGq7uM8W4
