Glad you liked it! I'm also thinking sound effects would work really well with the game. Will keep it in mind :)
such sudden ending, the birthday card and brofisting was nice touch, also just sayin there could have been much more fluff, at least some hugs. So nice playing a text based game where you NEVER have to type! (i am lazy)
It strikes me that it is quite difficult to make a cohesive text adventure in just a couple of days, so I'm quite impressed on that count. There were some nice little touches in there, particularly the brofist. Also, it's quite refreshing to play a text adventure without having to type, or curse the parser, or whatever else we had to do back in the old days. And no one sat down to start singing about gold.
Super fun text based adventure game. I didn't finish it but it was very interesting. Good job!
Nice text adventure game. I'm not a fan of the genre so it was quite refreshing to me. I enjoyed the mechanic. I won but the story seemed pretty linear though.
Good writing, nice and easy. :-) Thanks for making this, I had a good time.
I found one bug: the Ngozi will tell you to hand them the screwdriver even if you already did.
brofist... HAHAHA. This is the first text based adventure I played in this jam and it's really enjoyable. My only complaint is that I don't feel like a mission is established early on and it becomes a little bit confusing what you have to do. I'm not very good at them though.
I really enjoyed this! I thought the controls worked quite well and I feel that the confined space of the mech helps tell a focused story. The characters seemed friendly and the colour changes were impactful. It would be nice if there was more hints on what this conflict was about and who you are.
Wow, I don't know whether you designed that UI or whether that's a framework, but I absolutely love it! Makes navigating really fun and the background color changes make for an subtly exciting vibe. Actually, I think some simple sound effects would really enhance the whole experience. As for the story, I quite enjoyed reading it. No long and useless texts and dialogues, but still a bit of character development in a very short timespan. There might be some logical mistakes in the texts as others have mentioned, but I can imagine how hard it is to think about all possible orders of action and writing accordingly. For a compo game, this is amazing. I'm usually not a big fan of text based games, but I'm really glad I clicked this one. :)
Very interesting. I've never played text adventures. After a while I managed to orient myself around the ship. I think I'm gonna continue playing in work to see how the story ends :D Well done! EDIT: Hah! It actually ended with the... :D Not gonna spoil for the others. Points up for the scope :)
