It took me a couple minutes to figure out how to use the white guys properly but I managed to get the hang of it. Great atmosphere and VO.

Hey you might want to publish a version that is playable without having to compile. The only download on Itch was for the source code.

Really like this. Has a ton of charm and style and is really good fun to play. LOVE the audio work. Nicely done!

Very fun game, I loved the graphics and effects and shooting felt really good. I'm not sure on how it fits the theme of running out of power though.

Really fun, the graphics and style really gave me nostalgia of playing games as a kid on my dad's computer in the early 90s. Has a very creepy vibe, especially with that intro voice over. Gameplay is really fun, I really enjoy the risk vs reward factor of keeping people alive. If you kill them then you won't get as many, but if you don't kill them you might run out of ammo or lives in a rough situation.

Only thing I would really suggest adding would be some music to set the vibe. But I'm really digging the creepy horror theme you have going on.

I really enjoyed playing this game. It's very addicting. The art is at the same time very simple and so smooth. One way you could improve the game is by Adding more types of weapons? or different kinds of classes (human/priest/...) like fighters maybe?

Good Job!

Liked the hitting feedback with the huge loads of blood spilled, generally, the pixel art was great. The gameplay is very good and racy.

Made a quite similar game for this LD (with the difference that you are a demon).

The game is really well put together. I like the idea or reproduction alot and the gameplay feels very dynamic due to the daemons chasing the people, shots having a little spray and bouncing of walls. Also the blood effect and animations (even if it is a big word for this) are really really enjoyable. The sounds could be improved a bit and maybe some music would be great but I know myself how tight the time is. But one "easy" tip I can give you for your next LD: rework the HUD. The position is just akward - I always loose track of my health and ammo. And maybe and some indicators for your health besides the HUD like color changes or a screenshake when getting hit which gets stronger when you loose health? Anyways great job! Superb entry.

The link you provided has the unity project and the built game together, please separate them.

I really like this game, the arcade style is very cool. I am actually curious, what did you do to accomplish that pixel effect? was that a shader?

Great pathfinding, Its very cool that bullets bounce of walls, and the fact that you have to manage your humans, how many should you kill or not is very interesting!

Cool game!

@Wabble No i didn't use a shader as I'm not too familiar with them. What i did was, basically render 1 camera to a render texture with a resolution of 320x180, and then put that texture on a quad with a second camera aiming at it giving it a perfectly pixelated look (in unity 5 obviously.) I'm sure there's more than likely a more efficient way of doing this but hey it works :)

Thanks for the game!

The particle effects are really nice, and the action is fast as well.

The ammo system could use a bit of rebalancing, it was not very clear that you needed to kill your own guys to get money to buy more ammo, and the price was also not very clear.

Also, you should probably scale the font of the intro to the size of the screen -- If I don't play at 1600x1050, the title screen will get clipped, but the game runs normally.

Thanks for the game!
