I feel like I should keep developing this game (for fun), so all feedback is appricated. Thank you to everyone who tries it! Tell me if something is missing, broken download, wrong build platform, etc.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD39 → Night of the Unholy

Neat game, but it definitely lacks polish right now. It's also a bit too easy / slow paced I think. I stopped playing once I ran out of ammo, and the restock option didn't seem to give me more ammo (purchased it twice). However, the atmosphere is quite nice thanks to the sounds and aesthetics. The game reminded me of Killing Floor a bit (probably the sounds). Well done, and keep it up :)
The game has a fun concept, but really needs a lot of polishing. The enemies should be faster and the player since you decided to go with a big map, there should be a proper inducator for the generators, like showing hom much is left of every generator on the bottom, the shop system should be less bugged. Don't get me wrong, the game has a huge potential, and if you keep developing it, you may get something that is really good and it may become a new popular indie title !
I really liked the atmosphere of the game. I also liked the "thump thump", it just automatically adds to the feels of the game. For some constructive criticism, the first several minutes of the game was me running back and forth simply looking for something to kill. The zombies were on vacation for a bit. I ended up eventually dying because i ran out of ammo after a long while. I bought several upgrades but nothing seemed to increase my ammunition.
It's nice to see a fellow first time compo'er made a FPS game :0) I believe you can keep working on it and make it a better survival horror game. Improvement on UI, controls and sound would be good.
Here's some minor feedback - yellow color on a white background is nearly impossible to see. (I guess you could put some contrast color as a border). I also tried to reproduce a bug i found where i Restart game after i die and my HP stays at 0/20, but idk why i couldn't reproduce it. It's a nice concept. If you really feel like it, keep working and polishing it :P
I want to thank you for the feedback so far! I think I have fixed all of your bugs in my "in house" version. :D
First of all thanks for the constructive criticism on my game, I really appreciate it! I gave your comment some "love" :)
Congratulations on completing your first Ludum Dare! The game is pretty extensive for a first jam-game, very nice.
The atmosphere is really good, it feels very sinister. The game mechanics are cool, I would love to play a polished version of this! The powering of the generators is a really nice feature. The graphics might not be high-def, but it works and it all fits together.
Too bad I could not progress past the first wave. After killing two zombies I ran out of ammo, and only got $200 to spend. Also, the mouse movement was jittery and sluggish as if it was lagging.
Well done!!
I think that your game is fun, but it would be even better if a few issues were fixed, such as the text showing through walls (There's a good solution on the Unity wiki, but it appears to be down right now) and the movement being a little choppy. All in all, I like your game, but it would be more fun if it were polished and improved. Also, congrats on making the Compo deadline!
Good atmosphere, the sounds are really good for adding to the tension :)
Nice first entry! I think the game could start at a higher difficulty, but the many loop of survival while charging the generators is solid.
Good Idea fore the enery box. Neeed more zombies and 115 elements !
Neat game. I love the cover art. I thought it was going to be some sort of existential cultist horror game looking at that image (actually that might have been a bit more up my alley). Keep up the good work!
The game is interesting, could use more weapons and more zombies. That would be awesome.
Your download links have expired, can't get to the files.
I like the cover art. I could have used more ammo to start. If you do develop this further, having more waves, verses a few scattered zombies would help with pacing (unless I just never reached the wave phase, my zombies kept getting caught on the walls). Great job overall.
The atomsphere is great, it would be better to add some sfx to the upgrade.
Interesting. The movement was a bit unpleasant for me. I also had trouble figuring out how to buy any upgrades. I still haven't figure that out. I like the audio and the atmosphere, also the animations are ok! Good job.
