The text is too small to read in fullscreen.

I did some frantic keymashing here, to be sure. It took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to be doing. When I went out to get scrap, the ship suffered, but I could bring all systems back up pretty easily when I got back onboard. It was very hard to tell how damaged any system was, and the scrap just vanished when I tried to repair, so I don't know what that did. Buzzer sound was pretty irritating, and I heard that the whole time. Space controls were way hard to use. The turning would have been better if it would just stop, and then you could jet around more easily. This might be more realistic, but it was very hard to use. It wasn't clear whether any of the gauges mattered except oxygen, where my health (?) seemed to drop when there was none. No idea how to replenish food or heat. The pixel graphics were cool, and it was a neat concept. Nice work.

Outside space ship was very hard to control. I like the idea of having to go out and deal with getting parts and repairing stuff inside however I do have to agree it was hard to tell how many pieces I needed to fix a thing.

ledez 2017-08-01 04:54

Good concept. Didn't understand how to use well the controls when exit the ship. Great Game!

draysound 2017-08-01 04:57

Its just a little confusing and the audio can get very frustratingly repetitive. I'll Elaborate: Like a previous comment, the text was very small, and it was hard to tell which thing was which. A tutorial would have been beautiful for this concept. The air ( or lack there of )(get it cause its space ;) control was also a little tough to figure out without explanation. And very hard to use. I do like a challenge, but it just wasn't engaging enough for me. Partly because of the BEWOOOPS! in my ear the whole time haha! Which brings me to my forte: audio. Just wish it was a little less repetitive and I'm more talking about the bewoops right now, I think the song itself was alright. I think it might have been more effective to have a few bewoops to let you know and then red lights. That way you can focus on the art of spaceflight instead of the art of bewoop ( if you haven't figured it out bewoop is the danger/repair noise). Critiques aside, I thought the game looked nice, the concept was neat especially space flight. Just a little rough around the edges but nice.

hahaha, man, controlling the guy in space was insane and driving me crazy! It was fun to play, the music was in place and gave me the feeling of "hurry up,..hurry up". But I didn't survive though ;(

@dob @conorgrocock @barret907k @ledez Thanks for your feedback! :thumbsup:

Graphics issues playing at an unplanned resolution aside, I was spinning in space, lol. thought myself lost forever. Then I learned how to fly. The switch from ASWD to Tank controls was a hurdle. Beeps were beeping. Alarms were alarming. There was a bit of tension when I saw my health going down. But I managed to do enough to survive. I had fun. But of all the things I was running out of, none of them were power.

amatwiedle 2017-08-01 05:00

It took me a few tries to understand what was going on, then I realized you can just run the three generators and button mash until the end. The spaceship controls are impossible to manage as well, no point in trying to go get scrap with that infuriating control scheme when you can just run the generators for a couple of minutes and win.

kichex 2017-08-01 05:01

@draysound Thanks for the bewoop explanation hahaha, great feedback man!

When I started up the game, the controls were covered by the start options. Thankfully the controls were listed on the web page too.

First thing I saw in the game was a very nice-looking environment. Very well-drawn. But the text that popped up when I got near things was way too small, so I could barely read it. And it seemed like the only thing I could interact with inside the station was the broken machinery to the right of the exit. The doors didn't work.

Outside in space, controls were awful. I spent several minutes trying to get the hang of the controls while I went spinning wildly out into space. And then the Rescue ETA counter ticked down to 0, and I won the game?

It seems you can collect scrap an infinite number of times, but no matter how much I had, I couldn't repair the generator(?).

Seems like the game is terribly incomplete, but it's a nice concept.

mmason 2017-08-01 05:27

I enjoyed the take on the running out of power, having to manage different levels was cool. I wasn't sure if I needed to keep going out to get scrap as it didn't seem to matter if things were damaged.

pandorfa 2017-08-01 09:03

It could use some polishing to make it more playable

theflyingkeyboard 2017-08-01 11:25

Really nice, but the spcaeship is a little to small (I mean scale of the game could be done better). The game is fun, but a little hard to understand.

jacky2611 2017-08-01 13:28

god, the controls in space killed me. And no matter what I did I was always too slow. Is there some sort of trick?

kichex 2017-08-01 13:39

@jacky2611 not really, just take it slow when in space, It still is tough but is possible to collect the scrap :P

stubbyrogue46 2017-08-01 13:47

Interesting controls in space. Would have been nice if you could scale up the ship when the game is run in fullscreen. Horrible music. Seems to be some texture sample issues, see the scrap.

remzo 2017-08-01 13:59

I liked the gradual increase of responsibilities to teach what you're supposed to be doing before you are overwhelmed by having to fix/fill everything. I was a little confused about which area of the ship needed fixing before I realised that the red light was showing what was broken. Didn't manage to win, but had fun playing!

ramou 2017-08-01 15:41

i love, but i have a bug (the scraps flash). In the space, command is little to hard for me, but serve the gameplay. Good game

mintarcade 2017-08-01 16:31

Really nice idea to have all the scraps outside the ships. Controls in space fill like you are in space ;)

igorsgames 2017-08-01 17:06

I think the rotation in space is too fast to comfortably move

andres-felipe-mendez 2017-08-01 23:32

I'm the one to blame for the space controls I am so sooorry I didn't listen when they told me they were bad, I intended a change in rhythm and an additional challenge on top of repairing and grinding resources

skyward 2017-08-03 23:40

Awesome concept. When you're in the ship it feels a little too zoomed out and when you're in a space it seems a little bit too zoomed in haha. Very good game none the less.
