Absolutely gorgeous game! Felt like the start to a great indie game. One bug I ran into, the "a" key didn't work for me (on windows 10). But only cowards run backwards anyways :) The arrow keys worked for me though.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Nice to know someone like our game We fixed the controls, it was configured for azerty keyboard. It's working now ;) We also fixed a music transition bug which cutoff nearly all our infiltration music.

Quite a nice game, I especially love the two handed axe attacks. And the art is pretty good for such a short time.

I didn't quite understood the dodge mechanics though. The enemies kept killing me. even if I jumped.

And found some issue with the boss AI who kept going to a corner every time I met him.

Interesting mix of 2d and 3d. But sometimes it is unclear where your character is exactly so falling of the cliff is easy. Plus its super easy to get hit by enemies , even though there is an animation still cant dodge attacks.

Very nice and entertaining game, it should be nice to ad a ray or something from the power generators to the goblins in order to know where they are. But it's ok, I enjoyed it! Nice work!!

Really fun game, I liked the stealth mechanics and the attacks connected nicely, which is normally hard to get to feel right in this style of 2d game. Great job!

Just to say I finished it :smile: I really liked the game. I think the idea is very good and with a bit of story telling could really improve! I liked the atmosphere and the music. The controls are a bit difficult and I missed more challenging areas, but the game feels good. Also there is a bug at the bottom right stage, before reaching the generator behind the door. You need to kill 2 goblins to open that door and 1 of them just escaped through the other door, so you can't follow him and kill him. However restarting to checkpoint solved the issue. Kudos for the game!!

Very nice little stealth game, fun to play, bad definitelly movement of character needs a little bit more polishing. I managed to finish it, its short, but not too short. Checkpoints system in this game is just awesome, almost every action of player is being saved. Really fun game, great job!

A pretty nice game considering the amount of time available, kudos for that!

I found the game to be pretty solid in regards of the art style, the audio etc. I found the game to be pretty easy though, as I found no downsides to running around with RMB down all the time which resulted in me slaughtering everything (including the boss, which took 0.5 second if you just went behind him before he noticed you). Other than that small design error it's a pretty fun game and really well made when you only had 72 hours

@kashif The dodge mecanics is not perfect because they have some range or it would be to hard for them to kill you. I noticed the bug with the boss but I have no idea why he does that :(

@reggnos we had a shadow to make it easier to see but I think it's mostly due to the mix of 3D/2D. For the dodge, I just test and you can but like I said I think you were still to close to them even ;)

@aleal-dev At first we wanted to add an animation between the shield and the generator making the generator glow when you hit the shield. But yes, a link would also be a nice idea

@roberto-cano For the story telling, it was on our todo list (like a 2 player version, some puzzle and too many things...) For the bug, the AI can go through the doors, we need to take a better a look at the navMesh system of Unity to avoid that.

@theflyingkeyboard for the movement animations of the character, I saw that I inverted the name of the player legs so I correct it and I didn't saw that all the animations I did were wrong after that :( Next time I'll double check before making the animations ^^

@funkyhippo In fact, that you found the game pretty easy is not a bad thing as we are used to make LD games too hard. But yeah we definitely need to work on making one game with just the right level of difficulty. For the easy boss, we wanted to add a story having him laugh at you when he still had his shield and telling you that he even doesn't need it. So it would have been funny to kill him really quickly. But we run out of time (and power? :p)

In terms of gameplay, this has been my favorite game in LD39. It was really cool to have to sneak around to turn off the power and then take on the goblins with mighty pickaxes of the dwarves once they were vulnerable. I wished that there was more sneaking and strategy to that but in general it was really fun. One weakness was that it was hard to tell how much health you had or if you would die to a single hit. I didn't want to take the chance so there was a lot of mashing attack and then running away; basically all enemies were slain with kiting strategies. The player character felt so damn powerful, it was really rewarding to just round around and wreck the goblins' day. Great entry!

I saved the mine people from slavery of goblins! Great atmosphere changing music according to music was so proper. Very well done.

Nice game! I enjoy it! It would be good if you could finish the game in stealth mode (if you kill one goblin others didnt notice)... nice art and music! Good Job! :thumbsup:

I really enjoyed this game, nice job! I was a little lost at the start, and didn't realize that I had to destroy the battery to disable the shields (I didn't even realize there was a shield). Once I figured it out though, I got through to the end and it was very well done.

Cool Game!

The music was great! The transitions felt kind of abrupt though, especially when you trigger multiple music changes really quickly.

The movement and jumping does feel a little floaty. Good mix of stealth and combat. The goblins could attack a bit faster though, or their movement could be a bit quicker.

One possible error I encountered: After I followed the bottom fork at the trident, in the second combat area the two goblins were shielded when I think they shouldn't have been (I played through again and they didn't have shields). I got around the gate with a precision jump, but I don't think that's what you intended.

You made a really fun game! I had some difficulties with the perspective of generators and platforms but overall it's a really solid experience. i liked the characters art style and the music really work. Good job !

This felt like a very... _complete_ game, if that makes any sense. The music was great, I liked the graphics, and the controls were pretty satisfying and responsive (although I couldn't really tell the difference between the attacks). The gameplay was engaging and fast-paced, but I felt it was a little too easy to dispatch the guards. Overall, you guys did an excellent job!
