This game isn't exactly very fun (most ludum games arent though) but I REALLY loved the graphics of the game. The water was freaking beautiful. From the waves on the surface to the particle effects as the waves rushed over your snails. The gameplay itself was pretty good (if not exactly always functional or clear about what you should be doing). I like the concept of having the waves drag you around and it was reasonably well implemented (except when the waves would continue after it graphically told you you were in the clear. I would certainly be interested in playing this type of game after more polish is added and more things to do are added. Thanks for sharing your work with me it was cool to show it off!

Nice simple little game you have here. I definitely have more understanding of what it's like to be a snail now. That tidal current was off the chain! It was pretty funny how you had to breed on the go in order to save your snail population, but it was also pretty chaotic. I wish those snails lived a little bit longer so they could see at least one tide through. It was pretty intense when the tide came out and none of the snails were near any food. It was like a very slow checkmate situation. Overall pretty chill, hopefully next time you could really boost the polish on your game with some sound effects and music!

One of your best looking games ever. The fixed camera position makes it feel like a documentary kind of thing, and emphasizes the helplessness of the snails. Waves feel really intense and scary.

Beautiful game with intriguing breeding variations all wrapped up in so-slow-it's-actually-intense controls. I also like the really wide, fixed camera, because it definitely makes you feel like an outsider rather than a snail (even though you control them). The level of polish is really nice and my favorite part is probably how the particles indicate which way the water is moving. Once you figure out how to ride the waves it's fairly straightforward to eat up the seaweed but the snails' short lifespans makes it a challenge. Nicely done

Lovely graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/2umBRLlsy2g), if you’d like to take a look :)

Haha it's a tiny but cute game. The idea is interesting though and you really did a great job on tide simulation!

Funny idea. Unfortunately I couldn't even survive past the third wave, due to the short lifespan of my snails. In my opinion it could have been a little longer and the water should stay a little less long.

Apart from that the graphics are really great. I like the blured visual effect, while the water is there. Well done!

It is really hard to survive, but I eventually got up to 6-7 snails! Really nice graphics, and cool idea. A shame it has no audio to complete the experience...

holy shit this is absolutely gorgeous! especially when the tide rolls in, the underwater effects are superb! really nice work, its impressive. the gameplay is weak, but i think that was not the focus of this game. one note, i always think its a good idea to include the controls somewhere in the actual game. i had to minimize the game to search the page for controls. i also would have loved some audio. the visuals were so good, i feel like if you added some audio it would be even that much better. did i mention the graphics were beautiful?!? nice job ;)
