Interesting vibe. The difficulty ramped up really quickly.
Really hard! I walk up to an enemy (what are they even) and then die. I don't think the attack really works that well. Has a cool look and feel though
Cool premise and art style! Once I realized I was moving forward while attacking, I did much better. I did have some issues with the mouse look controls being too sensitive in the horizontal axis, and when I would circle strafe, the camera would judder a bit which was odd. Audio was also a little sharp to the ears.
The game is pretty fun, although attacking is a bit odd.
I was very confused by the weapon... It's hard to tell if you're within striking distance of an enemy, so I just sort of repeatedly clicked and hoped I wouldn't die.
The graphics look very cool. I like the phasing effect.
Once I figured out what I was doing (which took an embarrassing amount of time!) I fell in love with the concept. It all seems so otherworldly and I like that.
There isn't much to the sound, but it fits the style very well.
Speaking of style, the game looks great! As I had said, the futuristic, otherworldly style really suits this.
The controls are a little difficult to pin down. I felt like I was just baiting single enemy after single enemy slowly without much strategy. The attack seemed like it would randomly miss and I would end up dying.
However, all in all, I really like this game! I'll definitely be checking out your 'enhanced' version.
Very interesting concept. It seems that maybe the graphics of the game didn't keep pace with your vision. I think you need to adjust the position of the weapon to better indicate the strike area. Still, quite a feat for a weekend. Good job! :)
Nice concept, although I think the enemies kill you way too easily. I love the minimalist style and the tactical element to it.
