Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
Awesome style and chilling Gameplay. Luv it :)
Thanks everyone for the kind words! Chill was definitely the vibe we were going for.
@steph88 I've uploaded the game on your site. Thanks for the opportunity to show our work!
Why am I shooting down kites? I liked those kites. ;_;
Seriously though, very nice and "relaxing" gameplay (whew, it's weird to say that for a game where you're basically shooting things). I think I didn't even use the left cannon ever, but that was me. The visuals and audio is spot on!
@Diptoman you gotta shoot down those kites to stop those rebels haha. Thanks for your kind words!
Very Nice i love your Game Good Works )=
Such a clever use of story and game play. This game made me smile.
Really Beautyfull art and very relaxing, I cant say anything else :) Great job!
The art and sounds are great, I love the general style. It's kinda annoying when a red and blue kite are in the same spot, it's just luck which one it hits.
25350! The gameplay is really simple and gets boring quickly, but it's clever and does what it's supposed to. it was the story and everything else that completely sold the game for me. The graphics, the music, the whole concept is just so lovely and polished. I really love how there's different kinds of birds and insects which affect the kites' flight!
In short, the gameplay's a bit boring but everything else is perfect!
Amazing game. The art is beautiful and combines very well with the music to give a great atmosphere. The gameplay is very strong as well, you have to think about the shots you make, and time them well. Good difficulty level.
Even if the game is simple i really enjoyed it :D

I really liked the sound work on the explosions and the particle effects on exploding stuff. The game was beautifully made and it was a very nice experience playing it. It was nice that I had enough time to find out on my own what the objective was (didn't read about red) and figuring out how to select the different locations with the arrow-keys. It wasn't entirely intuitive for one of the locations which key was mapped (being typically 4 directions but only 3 locations I would suggest mapping the last key as a double to the one that makes most sense). As far as the game aspect (I think the game was very enjoyable with or without it), I found myself mostly staying in the top position, because it seemed to have the best vantage point by far. The time was a bit too long to if considering in this perspective. Also there was a sense of progress in the score but no indication of how I was doing relative to some set goal. If even there was one. So if you consider doing some post-jam fixes, and want the game parts to be core to the experience, I would suggest balancing the value of the different positions and giving a sense of how well you are doing as the first steps.
Very enjoyable and relaxing experience though. Nice entry.
Simple and good looking :) Well done!
A game with very cool concept art and music. I loved playing the game, switching between 3 locations and shooting them.
Kite style and over all game art is beautiful, how come you created with in this limited time, awesome.
I would suggest improvement on game play like convert it to waves of kite with increasing difficulty instead of continuous, then more kites to different location means i could able to play with one on left and bottom one is least used.
I liked the music. The mouse was off in the main menu.
What a great Missile Command-like game:)
The art style is wonderful, as is the music and sound effects.
My only suggestions are with the game play. Instead of launching rockets using the left mouse button, have the rockets launch by the AWD keys themselves. Instead of selecting which rocket base to fire from, let them just fire. Also, allow the player to have multiple rockets in the air (one from each base) in the air at a time. And have the rocket explosion destroy everything nearby, not just the kite that was hit. Have a finite number of rockets, and break up the action into levels.
One thing I really liked about this was that the speed of the rocket varied proportionately with the distance from the firing base to the mouse cursor. This was a nice, but subtle touch.
In all, I would have given this 4/5 stars. Well done!
Enjoyed playing this, thought it was nicely designed and quite relaxing with the music and visuals. Liked the feel of the art and the concept of the kites and cannons. Do think it would feel nicer as csanyk said with player feedback if clicking the cannon directions actually shot the cannons. Instead of just selecting where you would be shooting from.
