Ancient technology? Check.
Cheesy puns? Check.
Awesome sounds and easy to use? Check.

This one is going in my favourites!

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

xD lol that's a good twist to the concept!

samuelsousa 2016-08-30 15:46

I like what you did wtih the theme in the game name. The visuals fit theme perfectly.

remynfv 2016-08-30 17:26

This is pretty cool, it would have been nice to have more notes, as you can't really play anything with just 4 keys per synth. It's still pretty impressive for being made in the last 13 hours!

obscenelytrue 2016-08-30 19:38

The graphics are very inspired...

Nice theme twist ! I love it.

jeremyfa 2016-08-30 20:38

Nice interpretation of the theme! Would have been easier with keyboard key reminders directly on the screen, but I still enjoyed making some music :).

pyrofoux 2016-08-30 20:50

I'm not sure we could say it a real game, but I have fun playing around with it.
It would have been nice to always show the hotkeys tho

[synth-poping intensifies]

wooltech 2016-08-31 19:38

Well, turns out I'm still dreadful at music. Nice use of the theme!

panicthefirst 2016-08-31 21:17

That brought some jam to the jam! Good work :)

kapricornmedia 2016-09-01 21:23

I freaking love this.

alexlamarche 2016-09-02 15:31

This would be awesome if you could save the music you create, and possibly use it for other LD's! I like how you made something different, in the aspect that it's not a game, but rather a resource for making a music. Anyway, Great work.

alexlamarche 2016-09-02 15:32

@Myself grammar stinks.

teambald 2016-09-03 22:16

Not bad, especially considering the time you had to do this in. Music is so not my area, so I can't offer much on that side of things, although I think incorporating the controls into the keys might help improve things. Maybe some way to save or export your music too, but that might be beyond the scope of what you'd expect from a weekend-long jam.

Albeit not a game, it was super fun to play around with. The aesthetic and naming of the whole thing was b e a u t i f u l.

We played it on stream which you can see here: https://www.twitch.tv/cantgetourname/v/88815811
