Neat little platformer. The first level was my favorite with the musical notes hurting you. Awesome Job, keep up the good work!

This was brilliant. Original, cohesive art style, reminiscent of early DOS platformers - reminded me of first few Commander Keens, for instance. Brutally difficult, too - personally I wouldn't have used instantly killing spikes, but because levels are short it's not as big deal as it first felt. You start to get a feel of your character's weight and momentum after dozen or so deaths and it feels tight. Second stage is absolutely amazing - the way you see your goal and the hazards near there almost as soon as level begins, but you have to snake around the entire level to get there... Definitely would love to see this game expanded, if level design stays at same quality!
Any chance of getting mp3's of the background music? Pretty damn good chiptune you got going there, if you don't mind me saying!
The mood is completely frantic, that's awesome!
Pretty hard little platformer, but it feels really great to play.
It lacks of polish, but in a way it gives a lot of charm to the game!
Congratulations for that entry! :)
Oh, right. I had couple of issues too: Bosses were bit lacklustre and horizontal climbing had this occasional lurch when starting to move - for a second or so the character would just nudge ahead a couple of pixels at a time before resuming smooth movement.
I agree, nice little platformer. I've finished the music level but I haven't done the second level.
Very nice music too. Also I keep falling on those sharp things and die... perhaps they could be reduce health instead?
For the music, as said in the credits, it's not ours.
It's from Visager. (I will add this info in the description)

Thanks for all the comments :)
Cool little game. Definitely reminiscent of the old DOS platformers, super unforgiving, but you kind of get better every time you play. The graphics reminded me of this old educational game we used to play back in the day, can't remember the name though. Great job!
So hard!!!!!!!!!!!
I like your soundtrack and graphic, but for me it's too hard :D
I liked the game, it's a nice platformer, but I didn't really feel like the theme was represented in the game. The sounds and music was very good though.
It is difficult but I found it funny, what I liked most was the music. Congratulations for your game. :3
Oh man, this is hard.
Needless to say, I haven't finished a level, because I'm too impatient and give up too quickly, but for anyone who looks for a real challenge, this game is perfect.
Even though the quirky retro audiovisual style is well done, I'm not a big fan of it, and I must admit I wasn't entirely sure if I wanted to download the game looking at the screenshots.
The gameplay itself felt very smooth, nothing to complain about.
All in all, nice game, just not my cup of tea.
Strange look, but really impressive idea, good job!
Nice platformer with very nice music. It's a little bit hard but I have more fun when a game is not too easy. Good work on this :)
I like the shooting mechanic! and the music is great!
the atmosphere is very unique and interesting, and so are the enemies, well done.
the level design is better then a lot of other entries here, it seems really thought out and it adds a lot.
your game is fun and challenging, and have it's own style :)
I think you die too quickly from the spikes without even realizing what happened, maybe lag a second after death before jumping to the start screen?
I dunno why but Ur game remindss me old nes platformer games and bring good memories :D Very cool game
Wow this was hard. I liked how the style of the game somehow reminded me of the '90s, but I'm not quite sure exactly of what. I think the game needs to slow down quite a bit for me to stand a chance. It could help to a guiding ballistic trajectory for the shots and basically start it out much easier. Let it be possible to kill the Walkman safely from the first platform on the first level, as an example. It also felt like I got hit by the music even when I was still standing on that platform. Since music is sort of the enemy, or the player is the enemy of music, a cool death sequence would have been if the player started dancing. It could in fact be something happening while playing too, showing the 'health' of the player. Interesting entry.
The feelings from this game is like Rambo holding his machine gun and killing people. Great game. And really hard and competitive.
While the controls feel responsive, the charge mechanic and the physics of the weapon detracts from the experience. It would be nice to have different weapons and use the charge one to solve puzzles or kill enemies in a more complex way. But it was interesting enough to keep playing and see what came next.
Not bad. I had a hard time telling which sprites were instant death spikes at first. The gun took a long time to charge and didn't shoot very far. I felt like I could shoot most enemies until I was right in front of them.
Tough as nails yet fair, the aesthetics were reminiscent of the olden days as were the enemies. I'll give it some more time later.
