Interesting gameplay. I didn't manage to hit a 100 combo, but it was still fun. Something about the style reminds me of The Secret Island of Dr. Quandary... I think the children and the music... even the monster itself. Good job!

Good intro but the gameplay is too hard on a laptop to click / move / drag in the same time.
Music is quite good and matches well with the game.
I don't understand the point of releasing charged souls, it seemed to just reduce my points to 0. Also an indication of when souls are going to be released would be nice - like a sound or glow when you pass the threshold...
I got to x100 twice, and both times the final screen said the same time (53 seconds) and no points, when I know I had points the second time at least...
That being said, the graphics are very nice and the gameplay was quick and responsive for me... Audio was not annoying in any way and fit in well...

You can release souls at any time. Eating kids gives you souls and if you look carefully, you'll notice the eyes will light up the more you have! Just a small detail :p

Also, there is a bug that causes scores to drop to 0 if you go over 30 seconds ...
Releasing souls was never so beautiful:D Intro was cool, music was very cool. Enjoying game in the end
Your gameplay is actually quite clever. I like it

Hahaha nice mechanic, I felt evil there. I like the violet smoke particles, but it's true that feels slower at certain moments. Are you creating and destroying them all in runtime? Maybe object pooling might help you (look who speaks: I didn't use it on my game because of lack of time :( )

hahaha. Not bad. I have never seen anything like it. The crunch mechanic. Interesting to think what it would look like on mobile. Great submission.

Initially, they weren't pooled so I spent about an hour adding phaser groups to recycle all of my game objects but it doesn't seem to have helped :/ I feel like it might be some of my code that is bottlenecking somewhere but I'm not entirely sure
Nice entry. Everything is pretty solid in this one, and the chomping mechanic is very satisfying! Feedback in general is good, I particularly like the bit where it starts raining numbers during your combo, even if I wasn't really sure what they meant.
Cool game! I like the simple controls, pretty clever! Sometimes the position of the jaw bugged and the bottom half was positioned on top of the lower. A highscore would have been cool!
Nice work, creepy monster! Oh wait it was me all along, never mind.. :P

I in particular like the looks of the main monster! I didn't feel I fully got the hang of the game play, some crunching attacks killed, some didn't... Nevertheless, nice look and feel of it. Well done!

Unusual gamplay but fun. Nice graphics also.

Loved the game mechanic, haven't seen anything like this before! The monster's art is wonderful, and the sounds are...satisfying? Feels weird saying that, since I'm talking about eating children. It was a bit hard to handle the movement, but I understand that with only 48h, it is not possible to polish it. It would have been nice to have more complexity, but it's still a very nice entry :)

I love those graphics! And the music is almost too hilarious, considering that I'm killing(?) those children.

I don't really get the counting, but the movement and animations of the 'monster' were really nice and polished.

Didn't really get a good feeling of the mechanic even after a few minutes of playing it. The monster and child graphics and the particles also conflict with the repeating background quite a bit. The song doesn't feel like a very good fit either like @Jani Nykänen mentioned.

Lovely presentation, really liked the graphics. I found teh gameplay a little limited though, but once I got the hang of the controls it was pretty satisfying for a little while :)
Neat gameplay mechanic! Not easy to get the large combo though. Nice effects as well.
