Cool mechanic with the magnifying glass, I did find the gameplay a little confusing though. Still, cool stuff!

deathray 2014-12-08 04:27

Smiting enemies is very satisfying. Very good game, high score for innovation. I only wish the little men kept fighting rather than walking past each other and hanging out at the end of the board.

Hi there. Really like your God-game mechanic with the scrying orb/ magnifying glass. Cool to put instructions there as well. Nice mechanic. The strategy aspects suffers a bit from the 'Halma' problem - once units have passed each other then its just a race... no 'problems' to sort out any more... Really good job - more development maybe, unit types ?

Excellent game, I love it! It's very fun to play (5/5), the magnifying glass is working flawlessly and it is brilliant idea. Wonderful! :)

seraphki 2014-12-09 06:08

It's adorable! Though I can't seem to stop myself from scrunching my eyes, like it'll help me see the wee things.

spacedoubt 2014-12-09 06:09

Simple and fun!

bofink 2014-12-09 06:11

Cool! Love the sound when you smite enemies, feels good man! Hope to see you expanding this game with more units and such! :)

coboltandraze 2014-12-09 06:17

Very good. Feels like it would work better with a battle royal where the minion seek each other out rather than just march forward. But a neat little title all the same.

6downstudios 2014-12-09 18:13

I dig it! Really cool interpretation of the theme, simple but elegant mechanics. Quite fun!

tomvert 2014-12-10 12:47

Fun concept, love the way you read the instructions.

jupiter_hadley 2014-12-11 21:21

I couldnt find any people to interact with, but I like the concept! I Included it in part 8 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/Z4bPWwSnLLA

Strange but nice :)

I just now realized a few post-competition tweaks I was experimenting with accidentally got published to my compo version because I forgot to change a folder name. The changes were extremely minor, and to the best of my knowledge, only 3 or 4 people played on this version, but in the interest of fairness, I feel I need to admit that this happened. The original compo version is back, now, but I apologize profusely for any confusion in the meantime.

jupiter_hadley 2014-12-12 15:39

I played it again! :) I Included it in part 9 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/08ofw2klihI

blzkz 2014-12-12 17:46

Nice effect of the magnifying glass, It's hard to play, but you stick to the theme quite well

davidvisscher 2014-12-13 19:54

I really liked it. One of my favorites this dare!

rantt 2014-12-13 20:14

Fun idea, I liked that mechanic. I enjoyed it, nicely done :)

solifuge 2014-12-15 01:31

Wow, what a cute way to reconsider the god game! Through this viewpoint, it all seems awfully arbitrary... :] I didn't find any bugs or even anything that really needs a change, especially given the limited scope of these competitions--it's a very easy game to understand, and your conveyance is great--but if you have some more time next time, adding multiple SFX variants per effect would help a bit with the experience, I think.

Very satisfying experience. Thank you for the game!

papygaragos 2014-12-15 10:21

I am not sure I want to know how one could come up with such an idea... I like it a lot, and it's well made but it's totally random :)

sh1rogane 2014-12-16 20:04

Very cool mechanic and a very fun game.

deathbysnail 2014-12-19 16:22

Dig the mechanics.

jupiter_hadley 2014-12-20 20:54

*I Included it in part 11 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/09kdLS-s81I

foxthestampede 2014-12-21 00:29

I liked the mechanic and smiting is fun, but healing the blue units would make more sense if the units actually sought each other out.

freaknarf 2014-12-21 03:38

Hahaha god-of-carpet-game ?

supermsp10 2014-12-21 14:52

enemies or allies arent spawning?

Jeremias 2014-12-24 15:04

Very nice take on the theme and interesting mechanic! I think the reloading time for the attack is a bit too short, because you actually can spam these attacks to kill all the enemies.

equipejam 2014-12-28 14:14

loved ^^

01rafael 2014-12-29 04:36

Die damn red guys! xD
Awesome concept!

mohammad 2014-12-29 06:19

Not much too it, but its pretty fun.

diegohenriquez 2014-12-29 06:20

Very simple, yet also unique, fun, and just pretty interesting! No issues with it at all, easy to understand and play. Great job!

maxmetallica 2014-12-29 20:41

nice work

poxymyr 2014-12-29 21:34

This is one the best interpretation of the theme I have seen! The game is really cool, though not that difficult. Difficulty level only add more minion on board, but doesn't really give an advantage at the enemy.
Love it!
