Nice job!

Cool mechanic! It feels like an "idle game" with a bit more thought involved. Would be neat to see you develop it some more.

aneeslol 2014-04-28 03:30

I really like the concept of this, but it needs some sort of goal. Maybe a $/sec quota that rises over time. Then add in something to hinder your progress and this would be a pretty solid game!

hi-scor-es 2014-04-28 03:38

Maybe it isn't obvious, but you win when you have $150,000. Then you can try to beat your best score.

hi-scor-es 2014-04-28 03:38

Thanks for the comments!

Nice simple strategy, almost puzzle game. Would like to see a ranking system in the game though as the first time I played it I fell asleep and still won (it was last night after the end of the competition), but I didn't know if I actually did well.

pietro-ferrantelli 2014-04-28 18:55

Solid entry ! You did an amazing job, the concept is really interesting and original ! Congrats !

dragonxvi 2014-04-28 18:56

Played for 351 seconds, but by that point I was devouring cash! :D Nifty wee game, would like to see it taken further!

zerkruemler 2014-04-28 19:02

Nice idea and well implemented.

What I didn't understand is how to optimize the pipes. It seems pretty random for me how much a new field increases the $/second. Sometimes it even decreases.
The instructions should make this clearer to make the game more fun.

soy_yuma 2014-04-28 19:47

I wanted to keep playing! I was getting all the MONEY!!! Good addictive game :-)

microapple 2014-04-29 00:15

Very well done. Cool graphics / art style. Enjoyed the game mechanics.

kmakai 2014-04-29 00:16

260.38 seconds. It took me a little while to get a feel for, but I enjoyed it a lot. Original concept, too. Great job!

tomcooper3d 2014-04-29 00:17

really neat concept, great use of theme, great job

amour-maternel 2014-04-29 00:18

Good entry. Not very intuitive to know how the money earning increase but it's still fun to play and nice.

darkmeatgames 2014-04-29 00:19

Cool idea, never seen anything like it! I think with a bit more variety, maybe multiple levels and more upgrades, this could be really cool!

secret_tunnel 2014-04-29 00:19

A bit Candy Box-ish, but I liked it. It had a neat visual style integrated into the web page. Pretty interesting-- nice spin on the genre.

eerongal 2014-04-29 00:19

It took me a few minutes to figure out what i was supposed to be doing, i was just digging out blocks with no real plan. Other than that, interesting concept. Could be a neat little time killer idle game with some power ups and a harder to achieve goal.

atlantian 2014-04-29 00:21

It took a little while to understand the concept, but once i got it it was quite fun. Some audio would of been nice.

balloonsfor600 2014-04-29 00:40

I like the mechanic and the strategy behind it, but without a roadblock the game feels just a bit plain. This is a cool base though!

mjau 2014-04-29 00:59

I, uh.. i kinda covered the entire surface of my planet with a slowly thickening layer of pipes (..since, you know, price increases with *depth*..). I don't think that's how you're supposed to do things? ;)

But yeah, it felt a bit odd that pipe construction is completely unrestricted like that. I guess it'd be better to be more selective in what to mine despite increased costs, but "my" way seemed effective enough really

Anyway, tried it again playing a bit more "properly" this time, and that felt a bit less pointless =)

mjau 2014-04-29 01:06

Accidentally submitted a bit too early. But yeah, as i was trying to say, just needs a bit more incentive to do things "properly", i think. Something to keep people from sabotaging their own enjoyment =)

Also, it locked up Firefox (linux). Works great in Chromium though.

mjau 2014-04-29 01:43

Hi, it's me again

Apparently my Firefox locks up on all kinds of pages now and not just your game, so never mind that =]

ultimatewalrus 2014-04-29 04:11

It's an interesting prototype. I like the aesthetic. The "dollars per second" mechanic seems pointless because there is no penalty that for waiting, at least that I can see, meaning there's no challenge.

alexdantas 2014-05-01 20:12

Very well-implemented!
Much different from all the other entries so far.

- Please add a loading screen to your engine. It took a while to load, meanwhile showing a black screen
- The complete lack of audio is somewhat strange
- Other than that, nothing to complain! Good job!

pansapiens 2014-05-02 03:39

I can see some interesting strategy emerging here, but I like others I didn't understand my goal was to make $150k in the shortest possible time, until I read the comments. It does feel like an 'idle game' at the moment - which is fine (I love me some candybox2 :) ). Otherwise there needs to be something to do while you are waiting for the cash to roll in .. maybe swat something attacking your towers on the surface ? I can see some competition between players developing if you hooked it into the highscore system on one of the portal sites.

tomvert 2014-05-02 11:19

I like it, it's seems well balanced, I found it a bit slow to earn money, but maybe I was doing it wrong, what's a good strategy ?

figglewatts 2014-05-02 13:40

Nice job! I thought the mechanics were really good and the idea is pretty interesting.
