It would have more longevity if the destruction wasn't so obviously constrained to a grid. I'd love to destroy the houses with some kind of beam that carves out pixels.
Oh, and the music fits this perfectly.
Can't play windows games. Too bad cause this looks fun.
Rex Peppers, I'll be able to port this to HTML5 in the future, but I don't think it will be in the next 2 weeks :(
If I do, I'll let you know, I'll leave a message in your own game page if you wish so :)
Very fun but what does the bonus level do?
Just shoot the "mines" quickly enough before they hit you. They get faster as you progress in the level, and if you manage to destroy them all, you get a 5000 bonus points added to your score.
You can only shot once, and will only be able to shoot again if your shot actually hits a mine. If you miss a shot, you're dead :)
Tnx but i keep missing =__=
I use Famitracker for the audio of my game, really hard to use until you get the hang of it
Old style !
I enjoyed it, but I would have liked a little more dynamic movement using the GM:S physics engine. The audio was also quite good. I wish that the gameplay was a little more varied though, because it did get a little boring after you played through a few levels. overall, solid entry.
I haven't even tried the GM:S Physics engine yet. I am using GM:S like it is GM8 :D
Nice one, worked very well and went with the theme nicely too.
Cool! Wish it was a bit more like Rampage where you just destroyed a building x% and it fell down from structural damage.
Solid gameplay. Controls could use a little smoothing/loosening up to give it a more UFO-y feel.
I dunno, I think when you have to control something that's being shot at constantly, the player will prefer to have precise controls.
Usually no one likes shmups with inertia, and that's for a reason.
Great job on the game, i like the idea!!!! :D VERY FUN TOO! :D
I had fun playing this. It's a great game and completely finished. I liked it.
Cool entry! I really liked the music, addictive and the gameplay is good, but maybe a little bit hard learning curve :P From stage 3 it gets much more difficult to reach the lower part given the amount of tanks! I liked it a lot, office hours killer! :P
Pretty fun and simple, reminds me of some of the older arcade games like Defender.
Great game!
Fun and simple arcade action. I like it.
