I had a go at it, I'm not sure what I'm doing except when I upgrade. Is there anything I'm missing?

Perry:
Yes, you are right. :)
Actually I planned make 2 types of buildings, and allow player to build them.. but you know... it's 48 hours, and it's my first LD. :)

But actually, after last upgrade(enable on Lvl 4) you can controll your cells .

"N" - skip lvl.
"E" - add Evolution points.

I wasn't even sure what color I was supposed to be controlling... I went for the fried eggs. :)

Very nice looking game, and love the squishy sounds, but there doesnt seem to be much user interaction apart from choosing upgrades?

Hey, nice entry. Very interesting simulation style game. Nice idea giving the player only very limited control but giving you enough to keep it interesting. Well executed and very impressive for your first LD. You should feel very pleased with what you've managed to make.

very nice entry, I like the graphics. Keeping the upgrades after finishing a level would have been great, so you start of better in the next. Maybe do the "choose cell type" thing as post compo?

I liked it.

It's a nice concept that fits the theme very well and it looks great too. Hope you get the chance to develop it further. For a first LD this is a good attempt.

autoplay -as victory xD

Hehe I like the sfx! Particularly when there's lots of entities about. Would be nice to have a little more strategy in there, but I like the concept!

This is a neat idea, I think if the upgrades were more often then it'd definitely be pretty fun to play. My game is actually really similar except that you control the units as well as the upgrades.

Excellent sounds but could use some more interactivity, I felt like I had no choice but to watch my cells die :(
