You have good potential, keep participating!

To bad I could not run it. I get this error:
Could not find a direct3d device that supports the xna framework hidef profile.
I google it and some say you could change from Hidef profile to the Reach profile in Visual Studio and then compile it again.
I have XNA install and can run other XNA games.
Hope it helps more people play it ;)

I liked that his footsteps got bloody when you took damage.

That said, the sound was very annoying, and it was hard to know exactly what I had to do. Get one wood? Three? There was some talk about food?

Also, having your game install things in my computer is not good at all, you should make a game that can run without needing to go through a installer.

Cheers!

I liked the sound. It gave it a lot of atmosphere. I also liked the jerky animation style, though I didn't enjoy having to tap the keys to move. Also it maybe the player could just walk into things to activate them, instead of having a key?

It was a bit too tough for my tastes, but all in all I enjoyed it :)

Don't use the XNA installer. I don't want to have to install 800 programs, then hunt them all down in Programs and Features and uninstall all of them. Just compile for release mode, zip up the bin/Release directory and distribute that.

Other than that, the game was decent. I really liked how the footprints became bloodier after walking through the barbed wire. The controls were annoying though, I had to spam WASD to move instead of just being able to hold one direction.

Nice concept and I liked the "skifree" kind of graphics! The "music" and the use of an installer were quite annoying though.

Solid game, worked well with the theme. The music was atmospheric, yet got a bit annoying - a mute option wouldn't have been a bad addition. The usage of an installer was annoying, and probably unwise (a LOT of people dislike installing LD entries). I felt that I was a bit misguided - maybe ingame instructions would've been a good addition.
Other than that, a good game with a nice style.

I want to play this, but I'll wait for a version without an installer. Good luck with LD!

Would rather not have to install anything.

Others have mentioned the installer and target profile so wont cover old ground.

I liked the concept, survival in a harsh and isolated environment.

As it's a race against time I felt I should have been able able to hold a movement key rather than tap once for each tile.

It also seemed odd that as each day of the blizzard passed there were fewer snowdrifts.

Not another entry that requires an installer! Bah!

It got boring after day 1, but it had a lot of potential!
