I liked it ,but when I reached the coast was something supposed to happen? Because when I did it gave me a message and than took away my ability to move then nothing else happened.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD22 → Head South

In theory, when the message appears you can click to fade out and the game will quit. Unfortunately for some reason the quit command didn't want to work on my test build.
Rest assured that's the end :)
I really enjoy the music and scenery. I think you nailed the theme head on. I only wish the player weren't allowed to fall off the edge of the world by walking back north. :)
Great game! The scope is epic for 48 hours. And great mood too.
nice work. had a great feel to it
Very nice little game; It's a little strange and had a very unique laid back pace that I liked.
I was a little disappointed that it didn't really go anywhere, but to tell the truth I'm not sure that it mattered.
Great mood! I like that every person have something to say :D You created really sad atmosphere but just after that destroyed it with so much walking :D (in my opinion)
Really great game ;)
Oh woah, the graphics, audio, theme and mood - you really nailed it here.
cant play dont have windows
I like it. Graphics are amazing and sound is beatiful. Mood is awesome.
This is pretty strange, but also neat. I kind of wish there were more of a game, and a better ending. But I like your weird graphical style, the music, and the mood... I think my favorite part was the beginning where you get kicked out of the village. I had some weird issues with invisible walls blocking my progress, but nothing that I couldn't figure out.
Good job!
Very interesting adventure you made here. Fantastic use of the theme. This is definitely one of my favorite entries I've played so far.
There isn't really any gameplay here... just walk from point A to point B and experience the 'story'. That's not a bad thing, of course, but with something like that... you really need a good payoff at the end. There wasn't anything at the end that satisfied me after all that walking. The mood and visuals work well with the theme, though. Good work for 48 hrs!
I'm sure it's done with Unity... This thing always complains about the requested resolution and never start the games...
Great audio, nice aesthetic.
I'm torn. Not a fan of the gameplay at all, but it does nail the theme very well.
Any chance of getting this on Mac OS X / Unix?
@demonpants: Sorry, I can't compile an OS/X version without being at my development rig (sometime later this week, hopefully).
When I get back to it I'll be sure to fix up all the issues people have noted and compile a MacOS build too! Sorry for the inconvenience.
It's more like a visual novel than a game
and I did not find any story answer (only metaphors and feelings)
but this is amazing and delicious - very nice experience - thank you
saved for future replays \ inspiration \ reference
ps. i want more
