How to play?
you have to explain controls and put source code!
I have no idea what to do. I just click "End Turn" at the top and some dots change position. Can't figure it out :/
You should explain the controls, if any. As it stands, I don't think there is any game here. Anyway, I hope you gained some experience for the next LD!
@Gornova: Since CoffeeOnimal participated in the Jam (not compo) s/he doesn't have to publish source code.
@Trancelucid, "he", not that it matters really. ;)
And no, to be honest there really isn't much of a game. At least some of the critical components are missing; the alien fleets don't attack, and there's no win/lose conditions, among other things. I also completely forgot to display all the critical information; food, water and fuel consumption. Not to mention letting anyone know what is what and what you are supposed to do.
So, lessons learned for next LD, and thank you for the feedback, it does help.
Is there anything else but randomly moving blue dots of enemy fleets and sometimes jumping of my green dot if i click close enough before click end turn?
Not sure why you uploaded / what you expect from comments otherwise. This doesn't count not even as a prototype.
Maybe you should have done something simpler, but playable. And if you went for the Jam instead of the Vanilla LD, you should have used better graphics, audio or even some friends to help you do this...
Yeah, there isn't a lot here, but keep working at it...
I can see why this could be an interesting game, but without any gameplay whatsoever there isn't much to rate. Sadly, I must agree with @Shigor that this isn't exactly a prototype (from Wikipedia, "a prototype is an incomplete version of software, built so users can experience some of the proposed features or properties"). There is very little to experience here, besides the (very general) idea. I'd like to see it finished, but for now it's impossible to even tell if this is going to be playable at all.
If you're aiming for the Jam, definitely bring some friends next time, this should really speed up the development. Well, try again.
I know you said this is a prototype, but for a Jam entry I would expect a more than this. Unfortunately, I have to rate this entry very low.
I hope next LD you have the time for a playable game based on this experience. Keep on trying!!
