First the compliments. I love the creature designs, the game was really cute and funny, and the music was really good too. Three tunes made in that short a period was enough variety so none of them got old either. Also, the LD community cameos that I noticed made me laugh too.
Now the criticisms. The game's pretty unbalanced. Either everyone's attack is too high or everyone's defense is abysmal, but I could never weaken a Daremon enough to catch it, I'd just end up OHKOing them, so I went through the whole game with Spork. Also Level 13 Pixees would OHKO me at like level 30.
And also after you become an Elite, is that the end of the game? I got congratulated but I didn't get a THE END or anything.
Overall though I liked it. Really impressive and ambitious effort, and it's got a lot of charm. :]

Creatures are cute.
I just started, and a lot of little things are bothering me. game uses Arrows, Enter, and Mouse. There is no comfortable way to fit your hands to these keys. WASD [any key near WASD] and mouse would be way more to my taste. Or even WASD ENTER nomouse
One hits everywhere, and things always get away. Captures seem to be very unlikely on creatures at full health, and weakenign them is harder still. Anyways, Either enemy 1 hits me, or I 1 hit it. There is very little concept of weakening
Music is cool, but sound effects are really annoying. That victory noise bothers me a lot.

""There is no comfortable way to fit your hands to these keys.""
unless your left handed like me :) but yea I always try to include both sides of the keyboard for that reason

Even though I gave up at the first town, I have to say it was pretty fun(ny). The spork alone makes it a game everybody needs to play.
The biggest problem with the game was the almost guaranteed one hit KO, as mentioned above.

Funny game, very well done!
The musics are nice (although the victory one is quickly annoying), the creatures are funny and all, but the keybindings are really annoying, the game is pretty unbalanced, and I had performance issues in all but the first place (however, I haven't a "real" 3D driver, that might be the only cause).

I really liked the humor, ("Now it's all over my shoes...", "Spork", etc), and the battle music made me want to dance. A lot of what I have to say has been said already. Annoying victory sound, unbalanced.
Though, I did notice strange black squares in the tiling every now and then that were consistent. I didn't play far enough in to figure out if that was a joke or not. But you have a very nice game there that seems to only need some tweaking. Good job.

I never played any pokemon game, but after trying this I guess I will. Well done (a little hard though)

Really cute and funny game. Loved the art and the music. I think the game suffered a little from balance issues, I seemed to always one hit kill every wild Daremon, unless I tried to catch them, in which case they would one hit kill me. I don't really like having to switch between arrows keys and mouse like that either. Other than that, really great game!
This game was very fun! It was a cute idea, and very fulfilled your purpose in making a pokeclone.
I don't have a lot to add to what was said below. I was annoyed by the lack of saving (Which you commented on) and the switching between the mouse and the keyboard for the various functions.

Hilarious.
The funny dialogs and the daremons make this game worth playing.

Awesome game! Although I'm not a big fan on Pokemon-type games, this one is an impressive feat for 48 hours... a bit unbalanced, I had to play with Spork the whole time, and creatures with less 10 levels than me would own me constantly... :
Battle music was very neat, got me pumped! :)

I am going to have to nitpick cause this game was pretty awesome ( serious kudos for making all this content in 1 weekend :) in almost every area.
- Imbalanced monsters
- Not innovative

I tried running it under Arch Linux but I got this just after the resolution change (which I hate, please, never start your games in fullscreen, they usually crash and leave me unable to do anything or at least screw up the resolution, and 800x600 on a wide screen looks wrong anyway.)
OpenGL.error.GLError: GLError(
err = 1281,
description = 'invalid value',
baseOperation = glTexImage2D,
pyArgs = (
GL_TEXTURE_2D,
0,
GL_RGBA,
800,
600,
0,
GL_RGBA,
GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE,
'xc1xfexb8xffxc1xfexb8xffxc1...,
),
Not sure what the problem is, maybe the driver (Radeon 9700) doesn't like non-square non-power-of-two textures.

Hilariously cute, deliciously weird. "Can't you see I'm having a whizz here?"
One-hit kills makes it a bit hit-or-miss (as it were). Other than that...
That took forever... Really, I would have voted for this, but the voting ended while I was playing!
You accurately captured many annoying features of Pokémon. My kids loved the battle music and I liked the avatar cameos. Innovative? Of course not ;)
I ended up with a level 35 Biscuit, btw.
Wow, LD can't handle UNICODE. No surprise :)
