Solid, full featured game here. Very nice. Like inventive scoring display.

dgriff

Made it to level 14 with roughly 4000 points. It was really fun by the end. I liked making little forts for my guy to hide in while the enemies darted around and then sniping them with blocks that would simultaneously re-block my fort. The first 8 levels or so were too slow, but after that it got fun. So far my favorite entry.

Hamumu

Am I the only one for whom "Press Spacebar to Start" meant press enter? I was stuck for the longest time.

No innovation points for blatant clones (REALLY blatant when you even say so in the title!).

Works well, and I like the dice. No way I was ever going to get those diamonds together, I didn't even try. I agree with others that it starts off too slow. I quit before I got to these purported exciting levels.

Wiering

Nice little game. Reminds me a bit of Beast.com in DOS.

GBGames

I enjoyed playing this game. I liked how it got faster after a number of levels were completed.

pekuja

Seems like an ok game. The score display was cool. After reading what dgriff said I guess I need to play a bit more. I didn't play that far, so maybe I missed the best part.

jhauberg

Solid, but pretty boring.

HybridMind

Got fairly far in this game. I remember playing pengo/pango whatever it was called many years ago. Enjoyed reading your pdf timelog journal in the zip dir. Also like the scoring as others have mentioned.

Surrealix

I thought for the bonus points I had to get the diamonds together and then kill all the enemies, so things became easier when I found I could finish levels just my creating a 'match-3'.

Blatant clone, as others said, but at least it's finished and runs well. The audio was rather jarring.

keeyai

Fun game. Got a lot easier when I just ignored the diamonds and smashed the badguys.

phren

Very nicely made. The way it's has puzzles and action at the same time without being too stressful is quite nice. The movement feels very smooth.

mjau

Fun game. I also like how you reinvented the number system. Who needs latin digits when we've got TEN-SIDED DICE? It actually makes the game feel slightly alien -- not very, because you can still understand everything, but it's there, just a little bit. It's almost a shame you had to have the instructions text and "press space to start" in there.

negativegeforce

has a pacman + crystal cave feel to it.

I had never played Pingo but a friend of mine was a big fan and said this was a very faithful recreation of that. I would have liked it better if you did some kind of minimalist twist to the gameplay instead of to the graphics. Pretty well done, polished and complete for 48 hours though.
