| Oct 19 00:08:07 | Snake Boy | ♥ 1 | So nostalgic! I really like the retro style and the music on this. The whole game felt simple, fun, and polished | |
| Oct 19 00:15:28 | 7m 21s | Old Man Playing Old Game | ♥ 1 | This cracked me up - so many good details in your designs 😂 I was assuming the platformer part of the game would be virtually impossible, but I was pleasantly surprised by how playable it was! Still very challenging, but it was fun in a rage-game kind of way haha |
| Oct 19 00:19:26 | 3m 58s | Evil East Conquest | ♥ 2 | This is one of those compo games that shocked me with how much was implemented! Really impressive range of mechanics/features. And the art style is very charming! Great entry |
| Oct 19 00:27:11 | 7m 45s | DECLIVIS | ♥ 1 | This game felt really unique and it was a great take on the theme! It took me a few tries to get a hang of the elevation/travel cost mechanics, but the resource collection was very intuitive. And I liked the art style - it was really impressive how clear the icons were with so few pixels! |
| Oct 19 00:35:12 | 8m 01s | Punch Corp | ♥ 1 | This game is BEAUTIFUL. It's crazy to think that this was made in 48 hours because it is so clean and polished! The controls are very intuitive, puzzles are engaging, and everything looks cohesive. Really wonderful entry 👏 |
| Oct 19 00:40:38 | 5m 26s | Hotline BBS | ♥ 2 | Chill and pretty 💖 I wish the web version would run while it was open on a different screen/browser tab to get the full idle game experience, but it was nice to have it running as a break for a while 😊 And I love the dark theme with the subtle glow effect - very nice aesthetics |
| Oct 19 00:48:52 | 8m 14s | Zwillenschuss | ♥ 2 | The rock bouncing physics were fun! I agree with the comment above on music and sfx 👍 |
| Oct 19 00:57:19 | 8m 27s | Boom Boy | ♥ 2 | I was hoping for good music/sfx when I saw the capsule image, and I was not disappointed! The use of music notes as pick up items with the boom box character was a great choice. The radio too - the whole theme felt very cohesive and it added a lot to take this beyond a generic platformer. I did have some issues with the camera clipping walls in the first section. It would be awesome to have the ability to zoom in the camera as needed, or something else to avoid the clipping. Other than that, the controls were intuitive and responsive. Great entry! |
| Oct 19 01:04:02 | 6m 43s | Fix That Damn Thing | ♥ 1 | Really liked this one! It's simple, but very effective and well-polished. The controls are intuitive and the flow of the game feels very natural. It cracked me up when I got the big TV 😂 |
| Oct 19 02:42:14 | 1h 38m | Scrap Treasure | ♥ 1 | Nice gameplay loop! I like the balance of dismantling/reassembling |
| Oct 19 02:50:56 | 8m 42s | Kreidfeuer - Repel sea raiders with the beacon league | ♥ 1 | This is a very unique concept - I haven't seen any other games like this for LD60! It was very satisfying to see the beacons spread |
| Oct 19 02:58:55 | 7m 59s | Radio Active Wear | ♥ 1 | This game is so chill and uncanny at the same time - great work on the atmosphere! The gameplay was very smooth, and it was nice to break it up occasionally with a new article of clothing. The music also fit the mood perfectly. All around a great entry 👏 |
| Oct 19 03:10:45 | 11m 50s | Sound of Night | ♥ 1 | The tutorial for this game was really cool! I wasn't expecting to actually learn morse code, but it taught me a lot. I'm glad there was the option to repeat the phrase as many times as needed in the game - that was a huge help. Overall a very polished and neat game |
| Oct 20 14:42:06 | 35h 31m | Charlotte's Balloonatic | ♥ 0 | I would have played this game sooooo much as a kid! Such a cute and charming art style, the music is a great fix, and the gameplay is great balance of relaxing/challenging. I love how whimsical the whole experience is, and it feels like you've really made a complete game. |
| Oct 20 14:52:05 | 9m 59s | da Vinci's WAR MACHINE | ♥ 1 | This was a fun one! The upgrades are really satisfying - I was impressed with the variety you were able to implement! Everything worked really well - controls, attacks, enemies, upgrades, etc.. I was a little confused about the movement at first, but it made sense as soon as I unlocked the turn in place upgrade. I agree one of the above comments that I accidentally selected a few upgrades while spam clicking, but I was able to survive so they must have been good haha. Overall a great game and I love this take on the theme! |
| Oct 20 14:56:27 | 4m 22s | OadText | ♥ 1 | Great take on the theme and a very unique game! |
| Oct 25 20:43:41 | 125h 47m | Ancient Tech | ♥ 0 | Really cool game with so much depth! It was really easy and intuitive to pick up on the flow, and satisfying to watch the game scale up. |
| Oct 25 20:50:14 | 6m 33s | Floppy Disk Orienteering | ♥ 0 | Floppy disks are such a good choice for this theme! I like the liminal feel of the map, and I was relieved to find the edge when I first started haha. I would love to have a run option to speed things up, but there is also a lot of charm in walking with a map this size. Great entry! |
| Oct 25 20:59:08 | 8m 54s | Who is Nana? | ♥ 1 | Very nice vibe and balance! The combination of things to do at the computer makes for such a satisfying gameplay loop. Great work! |
