Oct 20 07:50:10 Rewind to Survive ♥ 0 Excellent graphics and good controls. Also a nice take on the theme. Puzzles were too simple and I never ran into the tape degrading until I forced it to happen. Seems like something that with a bit more work the base mechanic of the game could lead to something really fun.
Oct 20 16:47:27 8h 57m Not Yet Developed ♥ 1 Nice short enjoyable game. First time through I had no problems, had a bunch of the medicine so it was no issue. Almost did a no medicine run as well, but got caught when trying to get the last set of photos to the box. The photo ordering seemed like the weakest point. Was more like a guessing game rather than putting clues together. Was also hampered by the fact that I couldn't have the lights on while arranging them. The wobbly screen effect was also a bit much sometimes. Also nice touch having some of the photos change as your sanity gets lower.
Oct 21 03:54:00 11h 06m Meow Bomb! ♥ 2 Neat concept. Was initially confused on where the components should be placed as it looked like they were already connected, some sort of transparency on the placement spots would help a lot. Also, different minigames for the different component types would be nice.
Oct 21 05:18:17 1h 24m Beauty Gears: Makeover! ♥ 1 Fun little game. Graphics are really good and having the various combinations of parts giving a huge variety was a clever way to get around time limitations. Was a bit confused about when a part was done be worked on at first. For those having issues hitting the head I found that aiming up and to the right outside of where the head actually is worked most of the time.
Oct 21 06:45:26 1h 27m Why isn't This Working? ♥ 1 Awesome game. Only sticking points were the dialog boxes being a bit slow, and remembering I could switch between items for the cursor.
Oct 21 17:55:15 11h 09m Ritual Journal ♥ 1 Really fun and also a bit frustrating. Took a few plays to figure things out and develop a winning strategy. Having the initial tutorial be help text that could be referenced later would be very helpful, as it had information that I didn't completely understand before trying to play and future plays didn't display it. A visual indicator about how much XP you're getting from a ritual would also have been nice when first starting. The library feels a bit like a trap, it takes a long time and you have to devote someone to it that could instead be getting you the base resources you need. Was able to beat the game on my fourth try.
Oct 21 20:26:47 2h 31m Operation MISSILES! ♥ 0 Nicely hectic. Took some practice to get the morse input down. Everything is clearly communicated. Besides the onboarding being a bit long, the morse beep having a click at the end is my only major complaint.
Oct 22 17:08:58 20h 42m Buggy Bot Bedtime ♥ 1 Really nice puzzle game. Good difficulty ramp in the puzzle complexity. Got to Cleanup Duty before I had to stop playing.
Oct 22 20:01:23 2h 52m Loss ♥ 1 Amazing graphics and sound design. Loved the old school Silent Hill style areas. However the gameplay itself was tedious. The camera moved far too slow, especially since I never ran into anything that would cause that to be a source of tension or fear. The death(?) jump scare got me the first two times, after that it just became annoying. Eventually got stuck in the room with the radio repeating "Car" with no way forward and dying constantly from the monster. Gave up at that point.
Oct 24 19:01:06 46h 59m FOO-BAR 808-16 ♥ 0 Everything about the graphics and audio is amazing. Only thing I was wanting while playing was a list of what I have left in my deck, even just a list in the shop screen of what I currently have would've been helpful. Feels like I don't have enough information to know if I should push my luck or not.
Oct 26 15:48:02 44h 46m Goblin Island ♥ 0 Had a lot of fun with this. Really enjoyed hearing them scream after I pushed them cliffs. UI could use some work, but it was serviceable. Only real issue I ran into was in the initial waves the goblins that came out of the portal that is in the bottom left corner from the initial camera position would get stuck climbing their bridge, and since it also gave them partial cover from catapults it would take a long time to kill them.
Oct 26 21:16:00 5h 27m But Buttons ♥ 1 Got to the level with the red button, but the delay and required precision was too much for me to deal with. It's really interesting seeing where different people stopped. The base mechanic is easily extendable, and everything made immediate sense about how it worked. Overall really nice job.
Oct 27 18:23:13 21h 07m Road Rage ♥ 2 Brings back memories of constantly smacking the side an old CRT monitor. Loved it and I got to pet the cat. No notes.
Oct 28 17:28:41 23h 05m cassette 1998 ♥ 0 Had fun with this. Graphics and audio are really impressive. The only tripping point was when I needed to enter multiple words instead of just the one. Liked that there was some mild misdirection with the bit about the door drawing and the Tamagotchi being able to bracket numbers.
