| Oct 19 19:10:17 | DISK ERROR | ♥ 0 | I like the idea to be honest! The graphics are really into the theme too. I'm more familiar with moving using WASD and shooting using my mouse, I had to adapt my playstyle... And, without even noticed, I beat the boss not once, but twice, I was thinking that I have to beat 6 bosses, not 6 sectors / rooms, after seeing the same boss for the second time I noticed this. The sounds really fit into the game. Found some bugs (not the enemies 😂 ) at the pause menu and can't access a button... I might be incompetent after all... But I like the idea, good job! | |
| Oct 19 19:24:33 | 14m 16s | Corrupted Cartridge | ♥ 2 | Well... nice little top-down shooting game! I really like the mechanic of both the player and enemies can get perks after a completed level, that's a nice touch to the game. Great graphics, good sounds, what I found frustrating is the first level having the shooting direction straight to the player's direction, having the mouse available from the very beginning will be waaay better. Great job! |
| Oct 19 19:48:53 | 24m 20s | Necropolis | ♥ 1 | Nice platformer! I'd like to have A and D for movement, it's kinda hard (for me, at least) to use arrow keys... And, of course, I reached the end, so I got every effect possible (if I didn't missed anything: double-jump, dash and floating iirc). Graphics might be too simplistic, but I think you wanted to blend with the theme. Good game! |
| Oct 19 19:57:02 | 8m 09s | Rewind to Survive | ♥ 0 | Rewinding is a nice concept to be honest, and I really like it! Also the graphics are sooo good, especially in replaying mode. The game was short indeed, but very enjoyable. Good job! |
| Oct 19 20:15:51 | 18m 49s | Now Showing a Stranger | ♥ 1 | Well... that's something new for me. I like this interactive story, showed on a TV, literally. 😂 Great game! |
| Oct 20 10:14:11 | 13h 58m | Purple submarine | ♥ 0 | Ahh... minimalistic game, ngl... The design is at its bare-minimum to be honest, adding some sprites would be better. As gameplay only, it's nice, initially I though I have to move the triangle so it points towards the enemies, after turning it 180 degrees I noticed how it works. Since it's your first game, congrats! Keep going! |
| Oct 20 10:40:06 | 25m 55s | Blackwater | ♥ 1 | Nice game! It's quite polished if you ask me for a game jam. Also, another strong point is having an interactive tutorial + settings. For gameplay, I like the boat's movement and, the most interesting, having the cannon sideways. Most devs would put the cannon in front. After I got the mechanics I killed the flagship in my second run. The only thing I'm sad is not having a health bar to see how many hits I can get before I'll get destroy. Graphics are amazing, good audio. Good job guys! |
| Oct 20 11:23:09 | 43m 03s | Lexitron | ♥ 1 | Well... I played this game for a whooping 45 minutes, I really got into this puzzle! Modules 1-5 (Conveyor, Splitter, Combinator, Redirector and Repeater) work in every situation, every combination of letters, making them universal. Didn't understand why you get the Repeater module to transform "DREAM" to "DEAR", I completed the level without using it... maybe the official solution was using the Repeater somewhere Modules 6 and 7 (Negator and Morpher) are mostly subjective, since they heavily depend on what words you defined. Personally, I'd create Adder and Subtracter (Adder : from 'A' to 'B', from 'Z' to 'A' (so it's circular), from "OLD" to "PME"; vice-versa for Subtracter). No comments on graphics, for audio I'd like to have a sound for deleting a module, and for help the description are great! I had a good time pushing my patience and English vocabulary. 😂 Great game! |
| Oct 20 11:57:22 | 34m 13s | Echoes of Fermi | ♥ 2 | Wow... I'm actually shocked that you made this game in 3 days! Reached Pluto in LD version mode in 30-45 minutes? I lost track of time apparently! 😂 Great work guys! |
| Oct 20 12:26:53 | 29m 31s | Virus Killer | ♥ 0 | Windows 95 hits hard, ngl! Nice game tbh, without tab would be a typing competition (and I don't type fast enough). I'd like that maps can have multiple paths, with viruses avoiding the created files, since I can spam a lot of files. But nice entry, I literally said "Absolute cinema!" when I heard that nostalgic sound! 🤣 Nice entry! |
| Oct 20 19:35:57 | 7h 09m | Nothing to Report? | ♥ 1 | I really like the graphics, and once I memorized all 4 rooms (desk + 3 cams) it was easier to identify anomalies. But for sure I won't be a night guard, didn't pass 12 AM! 😂 Nice game! |
| Oct 20 20:11:21 | 35m 24s | Hail Mary | ♥ 0 | That's actually cool! Maybe you noticed that I like planets, don't you? 😄 The gravity assist is over a century old, but still used today. Voyager 1 & 2 used gravity assist from the giant planets (Jupiter and Saturn by both + Uranus and Neptune by 2). Not only to accelerate the probe, but also to slow it down (the case of Parker Solar Probe that used Venus as gravity assist). It's genuinely hard to do multiple gravity assists the way that NASA does of course, but we don't calculate kilometric equations! Nice concept, great game! |
| Oct 21 05:18:15 | 9h 06m | Last Courier | ♥ 0 | I really like the movement, it's more unique than a simple WASD. But as others say, the game is very confusing. I collected the first package, reached the destination, and now what? It says to collect the next package. It'd be hilarious to go back to spawn without any line to follow, the players will forget where the station is... Also, I can phase through blocks and get stuck by nothing (did you use collisions correctly?). And the tracks from the robot moves in the wrong direction. For audio... it kinda lacks, didn't hear a single music / sound. |
| Oct 21 06:19:37 | 1h 01m | DeadLine | ♥ 2 | Telephone operator is quite an old and outdated job, but it was something in 70s-80s iirc. The atmosphere is pretty creepy. I'd like to have the red light brighter, it's hard to see when a client calls from number 13 for example (very left and very right numbers). But overall I enjoyed playing this game, good job! |
| Oct 21 12:52:15 | 6h 32m | Falcon Mainframe | ♥ 1 | Very confusing at first, luckily I read the feedbacks just to understand how to play... An interactive tutorial (like: "read the instructions", "set the values specified (e.g. first level: set R1 to 15)", "increment PC to 1 and press FETCH to get the next instructions" etc. Since the complexity is way higher than I expected, it takes time to actually do the sequence. That's just the very old technology of computers. After I understand this game, I enjoyed playing it! Nice entry! |
| Oct 21 15:57:57 | 3h 05m | Stardust | ♥ 0 | That's actually impressive! All the graphics and sounds are way too good! Even the animations add a nice touch to the game. Gameplay is pretty straight forward! Somehow, from Universe V I was able to reach the Hypergiant (or Blackhole at the end) in just a single round (so no upgrades at all). Personally, I'd like to have a lower progression, but it's quite good for a game jam. Another thing: it's impressive that you did this in 2 days, without any engine. I don't want to be rude, but I'm not on AI side... and combining TypeScript (old) with AI (new) is harsh to rate for theme... Overall, I enjoyed playing the game! 😁 |
| Oct 21 16:24:12 | 26m 15s | Love the Machine | ♥ 1 | That's really cool! I can almost say that this is Among Us, but singleplayer version with tasks only! 😄 Those tasks are quite self-explanatory (almost, after trial and error on the task with a battery I understand how to fix it). About audio, from what I hear in background, the character is working in a nuclear reactor or something? Because the specific radiation sound is present in your game... But I like your simple idea, good job! |
| Oct 21 17:29:50 | 1h 05m | Analog Overdrive | ♥ 0 | Nah bro... this game is not great, **IT IS AWESOME!!!** Visuals are at their peak (way better than I can do), audio gives the great vibe, gameplay is way better than expected. Tutorial is well handled, every action is presented and puts the player into performing it. Very cool, that's a extra point! Gameplay: after doing the tutorial, the first boss was swiftly eliminated. You presented the energy balls (using Q key), then I noticed on 2nd boss that can't do damage anymore... After I use those energy boss I managed to defeat it. The time I spent I got so much money that I maxed out all 3 upgrades. Then I got captured between chains, luckily we have the shockwave (using W key), defeating 3rd boss was easy. I thought this is over, but NO... the final final boss was a challenge, it took me like 10-15 minutes to defeat him, since the whole map was a total anarchy, my only thing was... just to survive! 😂 Luckily, I did this in one attempt the final boss, but I can say that my hands kinda hurt after intensively spamming arrows, space and 1-4 keys. About the other actions: the sectors being offline sometimes and manually turning them off adds another difficulty; temperature seems to be immortal after maxing it out, I got a ton of damage in the final round and didn't even reach critical level. One extra thing: the WASD bug was actually good... right hand for movement, left for 1-4, Q, W and space. I bet that playing with WASD I'd be literally fried! 🤣 Graphics: as I said, the visual are so enhanced! The contrast is so vibrant... I really like it. Plus, using the post processing effects is "Absolute Cinema!". Love it! Audio: the music and SFX are incredible! They really sync and set the vibe even more when playing the secret boss. That's a good entry! Really enjoyed playing your game, almost smashed my keyboard for the final boss. 😂 This game is the best I played this event, and you get a high rating from me! 😁 |
| Oct 28 18:31:17 | 169h 01m | NEO REPAIR: KAWAIITECH | ♥ 0 | That's cute... I like the graphics! 😁 Minimalistic design fits nicely with the retro sounds. Also the game idea fits perfectly with the graphics. But I feel the dust is a bit buggy, sometimes there are spots that dust should not appear since I already blow it up from the other side. You could have kept the rotations being 90 degrees instead of 45 to simplify the algorithm. To be honest, it was 1 piece that I barely obtain 85% to set it as cleaned since there were only some tiny particles left... And the tool... the area that blows up the dust is kinda small. It's hard to blow up an area you want, and it's tiring to keep moving the mouse. But for your first entry, it's already enough. Great job! |
