I really enjoy simple 2d submarine games like these! Still figuring out what I need to do , but so far It's interesting. You found the fun and thats the most important part.

A rather primitive game; you still have to figure out whether to hit the pucks with the corner or the edge. For a first-time experience, it’s a perfectly decent game for a single beginner
at the beginning i didn't realised what i need to do. but after realising i liked that game! it looks very simple and interesting
Ahh... minimalistic game, ngl... The design is at its bare-minimum to be honest, adding some sprites would be better. As gameplay only, it's nice, initially I though I have to move the triangle so it points towards the enemies, after turning it 180 degrees I noticed how it works.
Since it's your first game, congrats! Keep going!
Lack of hints really confusing for the first try, but when figure out there's a pretty clear gameplay. It would look much better with assets and mechanics impact/feedback, but even now it's beautiful in its minimalism. Also, game definitely has potential for strong and fun gameplay flow
Btw, you can improve your minimalism appearance by moving energy and health bars above submarine:)
It's a nice first entry, simple but does the job. Maybe 1 more thing to spend energy on like speeding up would of made some neat strategical decesions, or an early monster direction warning system. But I did enjoy myself getting to the end!
It's a bit lacking in feedpack, score, music, and sound effects, but the concept is very interesting given the time constraints.
really interesting concept despite the lack of visuals
With a better polish it could fun but it lack a lot of things like music, an artistic direction and more interaction
Interesting concept, but I was a bit confused at first about what to do. The gameplay is pretty simple, and some visual and sound effects would make it more engaging. Still, nice work for a game jam!
I can see the theme in this. Quite simple, yet I had no idea if I were doing things right or not, in addition to repelling monsters. I didn't see the submarine necessarily. Maybe adding one or two submarine/underwater sounds could make the difference if you want to keep the visuals as is.
Good job.
The gameplay is very simple, I think it could've used some more graphics, like an indicator of where the light from our sub was coming from, my first run I list because I was pointing the other side at the monsters, but then I figure it out. But for a game in in 15 hours, not bad, congrats!

Nice and simple gameplay, there are things in terms of graphics and audio that would add more to the mood of being under water. Overall a good start
Pretty barebones, some JPEGs as assets would've made this much better imo.

People kept mentioning lack of better graphics, but as someone who plays Nethack now and then I don't mind the abstraction that much 😅 (it could have some balancing to make the gameplay more enticing, though; for example, the light could turn faster with more energy, so the player has an incentive to keep it fully energized to have better chances of repelling the monsters)
Very minimalist. An interesting game in terms of its approach to gameplay. Nothing superfluous.
Nice and simple, i like it!!!!
Really cool entry! The core loop is super fun and it’s a very clever take on the theme. Had a great time playing it! Left full ratings. Cheers from the Meow Bomb team, feel free to drop by our page if you're looking for more games to check out!
