A really enjoyable idle game with a fun sense of progression. Exploring the universe, gathering resources, and upgrading your ships makes you want to keep pushing farther. Great work!

A really enjoyable idle game with a fun sense of progression. Exploring the universe, gathering resources, and upgrading your ships makes you want to keep pushing farther. Great work!
Wow... I'm actually shocked that you made this game in 3 days! Reached Pluto in LD version mode in 30-45 minutes? I lost track of time apparently! 😂
Great work guys!
Great feel and super addicting progression! On a trackpad the scrolling is very bad. Also I think Mars should be easier to get to than Venus : ) But anyway great work, enjoying this!
Impressive visuals and content, especially considering this was made in just 3 days! The game feels a bit slow to get started, but it's otherwise a great incremental game, with a level of polish that rivals fully released idle games. The old-tech theme for the this game does feel a bit of a stretch, but overall, a really impressive achievement!
I didn't go far for now because i don't really have the time for going at the end of a idle. But it's really good, and look really big for something make in only 72h.
I reviewed on browser: Really nice complete idle game. The ship animations are really nice to watch. The speed up of the demo mode was a nice addition and I'd probably prefer it over all as then I can play it more actively.
The music has a nice vibe to it and it fits the game. my only gripe is the lack of variation. There should be some quieter moments and louder moments on a longer timeline 10-30mins to reduce fatigue from the constant looping. So adding a few different section that are randomly played would be great.
The visuals are nice, clean and simple. they work well. When selecting an object(planet/asteroid/...) the build options has this scroll that feels a bit bad and it feels like it is not necessary. Like maybe shrinking the icons or giving more room to the options would be nicer. That is a minor detail. The background in galaxy clusters stage is lacking. Would be cool to have many different galaxy shapes around the different PoIs.
Gameplay works as an idle game. The resources seem balanced. There maybe could be a bit more strategy to it all but idk. if it needs it. Like currently it feels like just spam click your money away and then wait again. It doesn't feel like it matters where I place my money. The Prestige seems like a fun twist to the idle game concept though it might be a bit painful for the little gain you get per restart.
The theme doesn't really feel like old tech. More like future tech.
Wow I started playing this game an hour ago. Really awesome work.
The feeling of pushing ever farther into the cosmos is so engaging. I really like the core idea of exploring a universe filled with ancient civilizations and their hidden technologies. It makes the endless progression feel much more meaningful!
Love the concept! You guys came up with an amazing idea.
Its a bit like an afk stellaris
Exploring the universe has always attracted me. Love the audio and atmosphere!
I really enjoyed it. The aesthetic totally makes me feel like I’m a brilliant scientist.
This game is really interesting and incredibly addictive! Space is absolutely my kind of setting, too. Even in its current state, it already feels like **a polished game I would happily buy on Steam**.
Overall, I liked pretty much everything: - The gameplay loop. - The art. Yes, I know AI was involved, but I still wanted to mention that I liked it. - The sound effects and music. By the way, does the description mean you composed the music yourself? If so, it's absolutely fantastic! - The overall mood and atmosphere.
However, **my biggest issue is that the game doesn't feel connected to the Ludum Dare 60 theme**. I'm new to LD, so I don't know how common it is for entries to stray from the theme. But as a game designer, I feel that working within the theme is an important part of the challenge. It gives you a constraint and tests your ability to work with it, perhaps finding an unexpected way to stay within those boundaries.
I understand that the description frames what you're doing as something like “space archaeology.” But in practice, the gameplay centres on watching dots travel between planets and collect gold and science. **The connection to archaeology and discovering the technology of ancient civilisations gets lost in that abstraction.** I don't get the feeling that I'm discovering anything unique or ancient. It just feels like collecting gold and science.
So, from my perspective, the game doesn't fit the theme at all. The description gives it a thematic connection, but I don't feel that connection through the actual gameplay.
That aspect aside, **the game is excellent!**
Almost didn't notice 2.5 hours go by. Glad there are saves, gonna take a short break and dive back in. 10/10 (I'm just a sucker for incremental games))) фывфывфы.png
Thanks all for the feedbacks!
@nickogino yes music and sound effects are done by us, without any AI!
Quality idle clicker spent way too long on it, not sure how the theme fits.
Science and gold needs to feel a little bit more different from each other.
this game is surprisingly addictive, but i don't really understand how the theme fits, but overall great game, maybe somethings could be explained slightly better, it took me a while to understand what the mining upgrades were for
Nice game!
