| Oct 20 18:33:36 | THE LAST WORD | ♥ 3 | The art style is absolutely gorgeous! I wish the game had a Chinese translation, as I had a hard time following the text, but I still felt really immersed. Great job! | |
| Oct 20 18:41:07 | 7m 31s | The Switchboard Operator | ♥ 0 | I'd only ever seen this job in movies, so I never thought I'd get to try it myself. It was a pretty interesting experience! Waiting for calls to come in got really boring, though. It would be great if we could eavesdrop on the conversations! |
| Oct 20 18:45:57 | 4m 50s | Old Man Playing Old Game | ♥ 1 | The struggle was real! I never thought playing a game with just one finger could be such torture, but it was honestly hilarious! Great job! |
| Oct 21 20:55:59 | 26h 10m | GO AWAY | ♥ 0 | What a fascinating perspective! As I played, I found myself reflecting on how invasive modern technology can be, much like the way AI is encroaching on art today. Such an interesting game and concept! Great job! |
| Oct 21 21:01:16 | 5m 17s | Quiet Carriage | ♥ 0 | The artwork is fantastic! |
| Oct 22 09:39:01 | 12h 37m | Pigeon Post | ♥ 1 | Such a unique take on the theme! Choosing a pigeon felt really cumbersome, though. I couldn’t figure out what all the stats meant—the delivery success chances were the only ones I understood. In that case, why not have each pigeon’s delivery success chance pop up above its head when I click on a letter? |
| Oct 22 11:59:05 | 2h 20m | Abattlacus | ♥ 1 | Wow, this is so creative! I’m curious what inspired it—could it be a Chinese abacus? Watching the little characters battle it out is so much fun, and the whole game has such a great tavern vibe. Absolutely love it! |
| Oct 22 12:23:38 | 24m 33s | REWIND 3000 | ♥ 1 | Such a creative incremental game! The visuals, music, and interactions all feel really polished. The white flash with each upgrade made me dizzy, but I kept playing until I was about three-quarters of the way through, when I started feeling faint and had to stop. I’d love an option to turn off that flash so I could play all the way to the end! Seriously, fantastic work! |
| Oct 22 23:41:02 | 11h 17m | Help Grandma Open Mahjong | ♥ 0 | Haha, helping Grandma open her mahjong app is such a fun premise! It’s a shame it was a bit short—I thought we’d go on to help her download the actual mahjong app, install it in the right place, set up an account, and even add the old man next door as a mahjong buddy! Still, it’s a really fun and relatable concept. Great job! |
嗷呜!We need Chinese! |
| Oct 23 00:00:07 | 8m 00s | Not Yet Developed | ♥ 0 | Ahhh, I was sold the moment I read the description! But I’m a total chicken when it comes to horror games, so I got someone else to play while I hid behind them and watched the whole thing. The darkroom setting works so well for horror. You nailed it! I’d love a mode where I could just develop photos without the scares, but that’s the scaredy-cat in me talking, haha. |
| Oct 23 00:08:02 | 7m 55s | Fire Already!! | ♥ 0 | I gave it everything I had and still couldn’t get a fire going 😭 Sorry, honey, I’ve let you down! Love your take on the theme—you really can’t get much more “old tech” than rubbing sticks together, hahaha! |
| Oct 23 00:29:26 | 21m 24s | Thread by Thread | ♥ 0 | This game is amazing! It’s exactly the kind of weaving game I’ve been hoping for, and I gave it my highest rating of the jam so far! I’d love to see more modes, especially one where I could make my own patterns and share them for others to weave. Let me be the weaving queen, hahaha! Day 3 is seriously tough, though! I tried several times and still couldn’t beat it—my eyes and fingers just wouldn’t cooperate. But the more I tried, the more I could feel myself getting better at weaving. Really well done! Funny enough, our team made a game about weaving too, but we took it in a completely different direction. Feel free to give ours a try! |
| Oct 23 00:36:51 | 7m 25s | The Margin Game | ♥ 0 | This is such a fresh idea! I never expected to play a jam game with actual pen and paper, with no software to run at all! I’m in China, so I didn’t have any English text handy to use—until I dug up an instruction manual, hahaha! Full marks for creativity! This is easily the entry that’s stood out to me the most. |
| Oct 23 06:17:46 | 5h 40m | Zwaard Smid | ♥ 1 | The sword forging itself is really creative, but the game needs much clearer feedback and guidance. Even just showing me what I’m actually interacting with when I press E would help. |
| Oct 23 06:24:45 | 6m 59s | Let's Make Fire | ♥ 2 | I thought I’d misread the tutorial at first—the left and right buttons control your left and right hands? That’s such a creative idea! And since the game already supports English and French, any chance we could get Chinese too? Haha! |
| Oct 23 06:35:05 | 10m 20s | Old Varnish-The Technology of the Old Masters | ♥ 0 | Such a fun take on the theme! I didn’t realize I could scratch the painting, though. I wish I had a paintbrush so I could try to touch up the damaged bits with my terrible art skills, hahaha! |
| Oct 25 05:52:45 | 47h 17m | Full Steam Ahead! | ♥ 0 | Wow, this was such a fun game! I ended up playing for quite a while, and I was hitting the spacebar so hard that the noise actually attracted my family over to see what I was doing, hahaha. Great job! |
| Oct 25 06:11:34 | 18m 49s | It's a Pipe Dream | ♥ 0 | The concept is great, and the animation, story, and atmosphere all work really well together. The whole experience feels very comfortable to play, the art is beautiful, and the story really sticks with you afterward. The interaction and guidance could use a bit more polish, though. I’d suggest giving the clock a much more obvious hover effect. Before reading the instructions, I had no idea I was supposed to change it manually. |
