| Oct 21 11:27:57 | The Base for Old Creations | ♥ 1 | I needed the first step of the tutorial, didn't realize there was a reply function lol. I then obviously replied to every possible message. I enjoyed my playthrough! Not sure why it abruptly ended like it did after I summoned when trying to fix the låååmp. I really liked the vibe of this game and the weird combination of tech wizards. Modern science is like magic, so it makes sense. It's funny how the world immediately feels alive with just a few forum posts, while we're just stuck in our basement chugging mana potions all day while banging random things on the desk. Also I can't believe you had that epic fight in the background, really makes the mountains pop when they explode due to the impact of musks corpse when that elephant slams him into it. It's not just a striking visual, it also delivers a powerful message that genuinely resonates with me. Good job! | |
| Oct 21 11:51:31 | 23m 34s | Dr Break Boom Invaders | ♥ 0 | I had a chuckle when my breakout ball broke out of its lane and started wrecking other stuff. It turned an already chaotic game into something more with extra strategy. Juggling all the lanes at the same time was hard and stressful, I didn't expect to lose due to space invaders but somehow I did, because I was too focused on the other games and trying to get the ball into dr mario since that was easier to solve than waiting for RNG colors while timing it with the other lanes. Really fun combination of games but I don't think I'm going to try and beat the current high score lol |
| Oct 21 12:16:26 | 24m 55s | Don't Run | ♥ 2 | I liked the build up and suspense. Navigating the upper floor was a bit tricky at times, but I managed to reach the end. I liked the writing but at the same time I'd like to skip waiting for it to appear, especially when you accidentally go back to a room you visited before. But that's only a minor issue. !> Halfway through my playthrough I realized S. Man was the snowman, which was pretty fun, so I was waiting for its appearance. It took me a while to find the hot chocolate dispensing machine, door 2 was really complicated to me for some reason so I missed one of the options. But eventually I got myself a hot cup of cocoa and successfully used the typewriter Music and the sound/vocal effects were very fitting. Pretty neat entry overall and I enjoyed my playthrough! |
| Oct 21 12:29:39 | 13m 13s | Rewind to Survive | ♥ 0 | Very neat concept! The puzzles weren't that difficult and you only needed one rewind so I think the degradation mechanic could be used a little more. But it's a really cool take on this genre of puzzle games :D and the graphic effects add a lot to the feel of the game. Good job! |
| Oct 21 12:55:46 | 26m 07s | Snake Age | ♥ 2 | Burning down a rival snek's house while it just returned home is very satisfying. I like the concept of expanding your snek empire with multiple autonomous sneks doing their own thing. I think the map is a little too large or the snakes are too short, there isn't a lot of snaking going on right now unless you intentionally grow very long. But it would be neat if the autonomous sneks would also grow beyond 10. Anyway, I enjoyed my playthrough! After a bunch of expansions I still only had the option to build houses or expand the map, so I think I unlocked everything. |
| Oct 21 13:59:24 | 1h 03m | Cerulean Room | ♥ 3 | I escaped! Pretty neat puzzles! I think I got stuck the longest on finding the second battery, but after that, I managed to go through most of the puzzles without many problems. A few nitpicks: When dialogue is shown, it blocks the regular interaction input. It took me a few attempts at the safe to realize that, because the safe wasn't responding all the time so I kept looking for a sweet spot. But it just didn't register my input because of the notification that I entered the wrong code. I also had a similar problem with flipping things over. I wanted to flip over the record but I couldn't do that because I was still holding it (or I wasn't, I can't remember). So only after revisiting it a few minutes later did I realize I just didn't click in the right state. All that aside, I enjoyed stumbling my way through the dark while listening to cryptic messages and making phone calls. Good job! |
| Oct 21 16:04:41 | 2h 05m | The Automaton | ♥ 1 | Not sure how, but at some point I managed to smash the coffee cup into the scientist, destroying both :D I got stuck on one puzzle, at 1:54 in your video. I still don't really understand why the hammer is repeated while movement is also on repeat, but it works. The rest had a good build-up of learning new things and I had to give the final puzzle a few attempts before solving it. Also, I would like to restart the level without clearing the punch card. Sometimes I just wanted to try something quickly but then I had to recreate my sequence again. But that's just a small detail. I enjoyed my playthrough, good job! |
| Oct 21 16:21:22 | 16m 41s | Hadal Station | ♥ 1 | I made it to the end :( Very nice atmosphere! My sub didn't blow up after crashing into stuff a couple of times, so it's pretty sturdy. The story of the station also made me curious about what happened and I enjoyed exploring everything. And then it was snack time :D I think there could be a little bit more light around the sub, it was especially hard to see where the ocean floor is and if there's a ramp or something. Anyway, good stuff! I enjoyed my playthrough :D |
| Oct 21 16:45:26 | 24m 04s | Doodle Skate | ♥ 0 | reminds me of that flash sledding game from way too many years ago :D I wish the physics were more deterministic because it's hard to expand into later sections of a drawing when you have no idea how the skater will end up getting there. But other than that, you can never have enough green-infused backflips head-first into a wall in your life Good job :D |
| Oct 22 22:32:41 | 29h 47m | Snuffed Out | ♥ 0 | I didn't finish the game. I reached sector 4 but there's so much busywork going on just to fly for 10 seconds, so when I hit yet another dead end I didn't feel like completing it :( Audio is great, very ominous and I liked the build-up of weird creepy noises. Didn't encounter any jumpscares yet but I assume that would've happened at the 5th zone. I was waiting for something to happen, but at the same time I was playing it safe by going back to the furnace early enough before it went out completely. I'm not sure if that makes any difference though :D Overall a very nice game! But unfortunately the gameplay didn't hook me as much as the excellent mood and sounds did. I played the web version in firefox and had no audio issues, for what it's worth. |
| Oct 27 21:03:51 | 118h 31m | Extraction Looter | ♥ 1 | Love the sound effects and how they're always playing synced to each other :D I didn't fully finish the upgrade tree but I did see most of it. I played it longer than expected, even though it's pretty repetitive. What I liked about the upgrades is that they're very tangible. At first I was like "why would I ever upgrade the front pack? just gimme space and speed", but once I started looting multiple items at once, I needed all the inspection and cleaning upgrades lol. The visual style is great as well, I have a soft spot for those kinds of meshes in a first person game. I enjoyed my playthrough! And good job :D |
| Oct 28 20:17:37 | 23h 13m | Beam Racer | ♥ 0 | Took me a few attempts to kill the boss, it should be easy but somehow it's relatively tricky lol. Movement is instant so a couple of times I'd move past the beam instead of bouncing it, which would throw me off and then I got jumped on. Or sometimes the hitbox of the enemy didn't get hit. But I did finally defeat it and climbed a few minutes further until I accidentally fell to my death. It was quite enjoyable, so good job! |
