Apr 21 18:31:12 Birdwatch ♥ 0 Easy to understand, fun, polished arts, severals missions with growing difficulty… What more can one ask for? Good job, well done!
Apr 21 19:01:09 29m 57s I Contact ♥ 1 I took me a little while to get it, but I finally managed to finish - after many deaths, as I didn't saw how to find the real children until I had finished, and so I bruteforced it 🤣
Apr 21 20:02:57 1h 01m Suit Yourself ♥ 1 Well, I would _love_ to finish something this polish in so few time! 😮 You are amazing, you know that?!
Apr 21 20:58:36 55m 39s The Lighthouse ♥ 1 Almost everything I had to say, the others already said it! So, I will just add two little glitches I spotted: the light from the stove appears above the character after starting the fire, and the character walks backwards when you go from the left stool to the stove Amazing entry, as the previous ones, I really liked playing it, good job!
Apr 21 21:30:13 31m 37s Radio Satellite ♥ 1 I didn't manage to get a single one… Matching the frequency is way too hard, and though I tried for long 😅 Arts are good, and besides the difficulty, the controls are clear and gameplay seems fine
Apr 22 21:44:48 24h 14m Fillmore's Island ♥ 1 What can I say? This is cute, this is fun, this is a little challenging, and I took all the time needed to figure out how to get each battery, fails and retry until I get it, and then go to the next one… I don't know how time it took me to finish, but I didn't saw it passing by, and that's what any player wants, isn't it? Well done!
Apr 22 22:00:42 15m 54s RETURN//NULL ♥ 2 I loved the mood of this game! I managed to finish the first time but probably more because it was easy than thanks to my skills. No surprise with the end though, as the name spoil it a little :P Well done!
Apr 22 22:20:41 19m 59s Radiotower ♥ 1 As I started, I was not confident I could finish, but unexpectedly I managed to get the end title! It was fun, even if I didn't remembered at first that I had to press space in order to accept calls, so it took me three "days" to figure out why I didn't had money, and then start the game again XD Good job!
Apr 22 23:05:25 44m 44s Logic Emitter ♥ 1 If you haven't opt-out for humour, I would have give you five stars, only for the "There are 1000 levels" thing :P With the first levels I was like "yeah, funny, I can find cool ways to finish the level" LogicEmitter0011.png And then comes the last levels… Well, I don't even understand how I managed to finish them, but I do (but I still don't understand how) LogicEmitter_end.png All that I knows is I certainly had fun playing this entry, so: well done, good job!
Apr 22 23:37:57 32m 32s Cable Connector LLC ♥ 1 I tried but finally gave up with the boss fight, I managed several times to get to the "half life" skin, but having to jump /then/ fire-up because of the keys don't work more than two at the same time, it was way too hard for me… Good entry anyways, the hard boss fight didn't prevent me to give five stars, as it was really fun to play and I wouldn't have tried so hard if the game was bad :D
Apr 22 23:50:53 12m 56s Satellite Days ♥ 2 One of my favorites this far! Commonly I sucks whith this kind of game, but I managed to finish at first try, and I had fun doing it! And many levels, increasing difficulty, and even a boss fight! Good job, well done!
Apr 23 00:47:57 57m 04s DIG_POD ♥ 1 I'm not sure if I finished the game or not. I killed all the eyes, including the special one, but the screen after the energy wave destroyed the pod was not very clear if it was the end of the game, or just that I didn't get how to avoid the wave (I retried one time more just to test but get the same ending). Gameplay speaking, fine adjusting the moves to avoid the fast punishing collisions was very challenging, but I finally found equilibrium combining the thrusts and mining at the same time. Well done anyways, the arts are good and I had fun playing it!
Apr 28 20:12:54 139h 24m Beacon ♥ 0 It was challenging, but I managed to escape! I like the idea of an ambiguous signal, that is needed to escape but very dangerous to use… And sometimes both at the same time It was fun to play and I had to use my brain a little, so: good job!
Apr 29 21:38:15 25h 25m Love Caps ♥ 1 My best is 32s with few tries, I could retry until I get my mate just aside, like probably those who fill the leaderboard with scores under 5s, but… what's the point? 😅 The idea is simple (to play and understand), the global design is cute, and it was a little challenging to manage the search of both my mate and little mushrooms (and I bounced twice into the I-found-my-mate-but-I-m-low-on-stamina-and-there-s-no-mushrooms-in-the-neighborhood-😱 situation 🤣), it was fun to play, good job!
Apr 29 22:17:40 39m 25s Signal's Shift ♥ 2 I tested another entry with the idea of remake a complex signal, combining simples ones, but your's is way easier to understand and finish! (the other had more signals to combine, with more paramaters - including phase - and, most, no clue for each, just having to find the good combination only with the resulting signal…) I enjoyed going through the scenes, having sometimes to solve signals, sometimes plateforming. It's really short as it's for a LD, but I would have played more with this. I like the arts too, so: well done!
Apr 29 23:37:21 1h 19m Hive and Honey Horticulture ♥ 2 So cute and polished, as each LD! I spent way much time on this entry than I expected - but I can't help with this kind of game… Well, at least I found all the plants and made millions, and those bees are so cuuut… *hem* What I was saying…? Oh, yes. Good job!
May 1 18:52:33 43h 15m Funnel World ♥ 1 Didn't took me too long (maybe 5mn ?) to find the first puzzle end, but I must admit it's not that easy, I understand that some didn't find it, as I mainly did only because there are very few things to inspect… The second one was anecdotic, but at the end I'm not sure of what you mean by exiting the room "backwards" - I assumed it could be a reference of some glitchs used by speedrunners on some games but I'm really not sure of that 😅 That said, last LD I decided to follow you and your work on a raw raytracing game engine, and I like to see that you improved it, and I will continue following to not miss the next (if it comes) - I started "messing with" computers things early in the 90's, and speaking of 3D rendering, especially with PovRay, thanks to a passionate teacher who shared the basis. It was an amazing new world for me, and since then I never stoped hoping that, one day, we could have real time full raytracing rendering… And that's what you are in by now! Not that the Gfx cardboards propose is bad, but… meh… this is still a mix with conventional 3D rendering, it's very beautiful but technicaly less… "appealing"
May 1 20:12:28 1h 19m Operation Alien Translation ♥ 2 fall exit feelings good you I don't know how many symbols exists, but I have a translation for 30 😁 I have nothing more to say else than: amazing! I like the very polished arts, the humor, and the global mood of this game, I played twice and got the two endings. I just have a minor grief: the system uses hardware keyboard assignations, so one can't use properly other keyboard than qwerty - fortunatly, I remember where the keys change between french and US keyboards, but it adds a little challenge to the game (and btw that's the main reason I saw the "bad" ending… 😝)
May 2 15:28:50 19h 16m Wavelatro ♥ 2 Well polished, challenging, innovative and fun! It could use some balancing though, rng was not kind with me until my last try (or at least nerfing some, f.ex. the down to 2 transmission limit is almost unbearable, especially the first time - ie. lv 75000 - I had this one kill me trice in a row 😅) And maybe adding some clue about "retune", because it can't be used without selecting cards, but I didn't saw clearly if selected cards where used by it, nor if they all are, nor if it was to keep them or discard them… Wavelatro_LeReveur.png edit: gave it another try, and almost finished the game thanks to very big bufs, but… 2 transmission limit 🤣 Wavelatro_LeReveur2.png edit bis: I wouldn't have stop on a failure 😝 Wavelatro_LeReveur3.png
May 2 23:57:45 8h 28m Avalanche ♥ 1 You don't see very often voxel used in a LD, and yet less often with great style like this! I liked the mood, the simple but good interpretation of the theme, and finding some cute surprises while searching for my unfortunate team. I finished it and it was fun, so: well done!
May 3 00:27:00 29m 15s Retro Signal Radio ♥ 1 Over the years I do LD, I've seen non-video games, programming utilities, but never a radio streaming software until this one 😆 For nostalgia, I searched Amstrad on the detailed page you linked (as it was the first computer I had), and found a dedicated one : RolandRadio.net. As it was not in your Jam entry, I downloaded the post-jam version… But nope. So then, I tried the direct links, and found that the site seems broken. So much for my nostalgia 🤣 But I enjoyed trying some of the ones you linked
May 8 14:52:56 134h 25m the_Core ♥ 1 I tried twice, as the first time I managed to lost myself in the first tunnels and as the final message is "connection lost", I wanted to know how I could have missed the way, and if I had missed anything that could have change the end. At least I found the answer for the first 😆
May 8 18:10:13 3h 17m Aether Raiders ♥ 1 It took me way too long time, but I cleared the map! (0/0 NPC) Aether_Raiders_LeReveur.png I would have used one or two more speed upgrades, and maybe any radar upgrade (like something to get targets directions), especially to get the last fireflies (?) ships hidden out left and bottom of the radar map, in less time than litteraly hours 🤣 but it was fun though
May 8 19:12:58 1h 02m Respond to Signal 404 ♥ 0 As said before by others, it needs searching randomly to find the english version, maybe you should set it by default instead of the other language I played several times, and the second one I ran into a soft-lock and had to die in order to restart, because I had opened 4th floor *before* getting the glasses, and then, when I came back the door was locked again but I had not the key anymore - I think either the player should not be able to open the 4th floor door before getting the glasses (for example by showing the 4th floor door key only with green lense), or either the 4th floor door still stay open, or either the key does not disappear I like this kind of game (explore/horror), I like the arts and sounds, however I didn't find how to finish the game, I've found lots of papers and hints to understand the story behind, I saw the scene with the girl dying, but then I don't know what to do, I always ends being catch by the monster in the last corridor…
May 8 19:44:06 31m 08s DEDUCTION ♥ 0 I played it, tried some combinations, searched for any clue about the "alien speaks", even managed - I don't know how - to get the first button light green and get to second one yellowed, but finally gave up without understanding anything… Sorry, too cryptic, even for me 😅
May 8 20:15:17 31m 11s Short-Range Robot ♥ 1 A bullet hell boss where you have to stay close to a randmoly frolicking source… You devil! 🤣
May 8 20:56:45 41m 28s No Response ♥ 0 It was hard to beat, but I beat it! And fun fact, cloudflare had a problem just the moment I wanted to try your game, so I couldn't reach itch.io as cloudflare was looping on the anti-bot page, and so your game was litteraly out of reach because of a no response from the site 🤣
