Apr 27 17:22:39 Without Brakes ♥ 1 I got up to 104km šŸ˜… and I think that was mostly random generation luck towards the end, since it seemed quite common to eventually get given an impossible turn. Graphically, I really like the vibe, it looked cool, and the music went well with the visuals. There was a weird graphical thing at the top (above the viewport), wasn't sure if it had anything to do with the game or was just a glitch. Gameplay wise, I had fun. Its a simple game, but well implemented under the time constraints. I think it would have been cool if the horn needed a bit more thought than just spam it when there are cars up ahead. Also I think it feels a bit unfair when you speed up enough that you can't possibly win. Nice entry! :)
Apr 27 17:29:48 7m 09s Herd behaviour ♥ 1 I managed to finish in 5 turns - its a shame you didn't get to add more levels, because I think this could have been fun to play more of! :) I almost think it might have been better without the 'turn towards' tool, since then you need to embrace the chaos more. Fun concept!
Apr 28 23:08:56 29h 39m Green & Yellow & Red ♥ 1 Screenshot.png I don't know whether this score is good or not, but as the second level taught me (with the green platforms) sometimes its best to just move on red! This was fun, I like that the game got progressively more interesting with each level. The blue clocks were really cool (although on my first playthrough one of them pushed me through the wall and I fell off the bottom). Nice building up of simple concepts to make the brain work - cool entry!
Apr 28 23:23:24 14m 28s Robo-Miners ♥ 1 Fun little game, I think after a while it seemed a little too easy though, and once I got to 20 ore I figured I had seen it all. I also would have liked to see a bit more juice to the game, like maybe the asteroids could spin a bit, and flash/explode when they get hit. Also I felt like since there was no indication of where asteroids were, there wasn't really any drive for me to do anything except mindlessly wander. I really liked the sound effects though, they are simple but effective, and the graphics are cute, nice entry!
May 1 11:33:11 60h 09m Exegenesis ♥ 1 I intend to give this a play and I'm looking forward to it! You don't mention in the description, but I assume I also need a standard deck of playing cards?
May 2 00:27:33 12h 54m Aurora 4: Prelude ♥ 1 I really enjoyed this, the game had great vibes. Graphics looked really cool, and the audio matched it perfectly. I think you did a great job of recreating the feeling of games of the era. I do echo what others said though, I am not sure what the lives were actually doing for me given that if you get hit once you have to start over from the beginning. It was cool that I could practice and make it a bit further each time, but I think I would really appreciate if the lives meant I could respawn instantly and keep going. I liked the enemy variety I saw though, and I felt like I was getting a bit better with every run (as long as I got the rapid-fire gun dropped :p)
May 3 20:54:00 44h 26m In the Crib ♥ 2 Nice game, very cute! I managed to get up to 97% comfort and I think that the final 3% is good for baby's character building. Really nice unique vibe, and well pulled off (the art is crisp and the audio is very nice and clear). I like the music too, it fits the game really well. I had a fun time exploring every different item and experimenting with how they affected the final score. > since I also created the baby from scratch I’m counting it as compo. Very impressive creating a baby in 48 hours, putting all other mammals to shame! (I agree, this is a great compo entry) Nice entry! Good job - especially doing it alongside everything else!
May 3 21:12:05 18m 05s Routine Mission ♥ 1 I'm assuming that once I made it to cryosleep, that's the end of the game. Let me know if that's not true! This game had a fantastic atmosphere. The gameplay was very simple, but I was very engaged with the story, and enjoyed the variation, and the story arc. I was on the edge of my seat, it was quite creepy! Avoiding the red dot was actually quite tricky at times (to me it was quite clear that if I ignored it my ship would explode). I think it really added to the tension. Great entry, its quite tricky to successfully pull off the mood that you did!
May 4 12:00:08 14h 48m Per Signum ♥ 1 Nice game, I had a fun time playing it! I think the progression was good, just as I was getting frustrated with the basic drones I unlocked the level up, which was nice. I followed your advice and explored the map before going north, which meant I had a good satisfying army behind me to re-take the comms matrix. I found the AI of my own drones to be a bit annoying at times, it would have been nice if there was some way to get them to move around. Also I think I found it to be a bit easy once I had the rhythm down, I don't think I lost a single signal tower. Nice entry though, I enjoyed it, it looks good, and the music suits it well! May 4 13:20:01 1h 19m Drum`n`Ice ♥ 3 I found this really difficult, but I definitely got better the more I played (it was helpful that upgrades stuck around when I died, even if that was unintentional). The 3d world, voicing and story are really nice elements on top of the core gameplay, which is really cool for a jam game! I think it could have done with more visual cues - and maybe it felt like the audio was desyncing with time (that might just be my lack of musical ability though). I also played your post-jam version a bit, and found the difficulty better, but I still sometimes would get into cycles where I kept missing the first beat of the player turn and then couldn't cast anything for a few turns which was quite frustrating xD Thats how I died on the boss :P Overall, great entry, with an impressive amount to it, good job!
May 4 14:29:05 1h 09m HORIZON'S CALL ♥ 2 Cool, very moody game! I think I reached the end (there is a cutscene then the game starts from the beginning). I played the 1.2 version, so I don't know if you changed anything, but I found the game to be quite intuitive. There was a period at the beginning where I was trying to figure out what was going on, but I thought it was quite clear when what I was seeing through the scanner didn't match what I was seeing on the rest of the screen. I think that you pulled off the atmosphere/horror-esque vibes quite well. It was quite tense. Good length of game too, the core mechanic didn't get stale (but I think if you had more levels without new mechanics it probably would). I wonder if there should be some reason to not always have your scanner out though, I was almost entirely looking at its screen, and not much else, since that allowed seeing the goals and the enemies. Great entry though. The sound through my headphones sounded great, the mechanic was fun to discover, and the world was very pretty!
May 5 22:40:34 32h 11m šŸ—¦ā—ŽšŸ—§ ♥ 0 Nice! Very well polished and gave a good feeling of exploration. There was a good journey of discovery as I played through the game, with the gradual revealing of the different mechanics and enemies. Even the upgrade system felt like a little puzzle. The game is also very pretty - simple but powerful visuals (and the character was cute with the little ears). The small panic every time I revealed more territory was fun, I do feel like there was something missing with the gameplay loop. Maybe some reason to push further away, or some upgrade path which changed the mechanics slightly. I felt like the journey back wasn't as enjoyable as the journey out, since I was trying to just retrace my steps. Maybe some breadcrumb mechanic, or a less harsh penalty for death? Overall I had a good time though, I enjoyed the journey of discovery, with the very isolated atmosphere. The shooting felt good too. nice entry! Screenshot 2026-05-05 233028.png
May 5 23:28:53 48m 19s Connection Restoration ♥ 1 Very short, but interesting you made basically 2 entirely separate games. I think the side-scroller platformer was quite fun, and the talking signals when you split them were cute. It would have been great if you could have fit some more levels in. I made it to the end with 2 active signals :) I didn't find the orbit part of the game particularly challenging, but I assume you had some ideas there which you didn't get around to. All in all, it was a very condensed experience, so I enjoyed my few minutes, but would have loved to see a bit more content.
May 6 20:00:08 20h 31m Heisty Heist ♥ 1 Cool idea, I like how it fits around the theme! I found this game to be quite difficult in a bit of a frustrating way - placing ribbons was fine, but often the bandit would drift as he was wandering, so wouldn't hit my ribbon and then there was nothing I could do about it. I did manage to complete the first level, and it was a fun concept, but it was quite annoying when he just got caught on scenery and then there was nothing I could do. Also there were several times where the police officer reached the bandit, but didn't trigger game over, so I had to run over myself and just run into him. Cool level generation though - I like that each level was based around a theme with some variation each retry. Cute ducks and bunnies wondering around too - nice entry! :)
May 6 20:20:15 20m 07s Natural Luck ♥ 1 Fun game, I made it to level 33 with a high 6-figure balance... but then lost it all with some silly bets. I had fun though (because it wasn't my money šŸ‘€). I did feel like I kept playing the same hedgehog-fox-mouse combo over and over, and didn't really feel like the signals encouraged me to swap it up. Also I think it would have been nice to see the probabilities of the different enemies, which might have further encouraged switching it up. Fun idea, nice game, good job! :D
May 6 20:39:28 19m 13s Mixed Signals ♥ 2 I enjoyed this! Cool concept, I think it would legitimately be a good tool for learning about waves. I played your jam version to rate. I liked the gradual unlocking of the new parameters. It would have been fun if you could have heard a (quiet) version of the wave playing in the background I think. I also didn't notice where the timer which was counting down was on my first playthrough, since it was hidden in tiny numbers at the top. I liked how I felt I was getting better at the game as I played. I made it up to the harmonics before I ran out of time and saw that unfortunately I would have to start from the beginning to replay. I also played your post-jam version. It looked much cooler, but I'm not sure the music really suited the game. Also I still couldn't really see the countdown easily. I think there were also some regressions, like the parameter steps didn't seem quite so good - at one point I was at +360 phase, and I think it needed like 0 or 1 or something, so it looked perfect but wasn't "locking in". Nice entry, hope claude didn't get on your nerves too much šŸ˜
